Breeze Airways has been busy establishing itself in the market. The upstart carrier has dramatically expanded its route map in the last couple of years to compete against some of the larger players.

Now, it’s offering its first-ever points sale. Through July 27, 2026, Breezy Rewards members can purchase BreezePoints with up to a 50% discount.

Let’s take a look at the details of this sale and whether it makes sense to take advantage of this sale.

Buy BreezePoints With up to a 50% Discount

Between now and July 27, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. PT, Breeze Airways Breezy Rewards members can purchase BreezePoints with up to a 50% discount, resulting in a cost as little as 1.45 cents per point.

The discount is tiered, meaning you’ll get a bigger discount as you purchase more points:

  • Purchase 1,000 points and get no discount (2.9 cents per point).
  • Purchase 2,000 to 4,000 points and get a 30% discount (2.03 cents per point).
  • Purchase 5,000 to 9,000 points and get a 40% discount (1.74 cents per point).
  • Purchase 10,000 to 200,000 points and get a 50% discount (1.45 cents per point).
  • Direct link to purchase

With the 50% discount, you could purchase a total of 200,000 points for a total cost of $2,902.50, bringing the cost of each point to 1.45 cents.

Note that members can purchase a maximum of 200,000 BreezePoints annually, and transactions are subject to a 7.5% tax, which is standard practice for points sales from U.S. carriers.

There are a few more terms to take note of:

  • BreezePoint purchases are nonrefundable.
  • Allow up to 72 hours for purchased points to appear in your Breezy Rewards account.
  • This promotion cannot be combined with any other offer.
  • Purchased points do not count toward Breezy Rewards elite status.

Is It Worth It?

The key to assessing whether it’s worth buying points through an airline’s sale is determining whether you can get a better value from redeeming them than you’d pay to purchase them.

The Breezy Rewards program makes this somewhat difficult since it employs dynamic pricing, meaning award costs can fluctuate wildly from flight to flight.

We value BreezePoints at 1 cent apiece, so even if you maximized this promotion and purchased points for 1.45 cents apiece, you’d be paying more than each point is theoretically worth. However, there are instances where redeeming points can return strong value.

For example, this flight between Raleigh-Durham (RDU) and Orlando (MCO) requires just 2,000 BreezePoints one-way, while the cash fare costs $49, resulting in a value of about 2.5 cents per point.

You’ll need to research flights you’d like to take and compare points and cash rates to determine whether it’s worth buying points. Remember, you also need to purchase at least 10,000 points to receive the 50% discount, so be extra sure you can redeem points at a good value for your preferred flights before you make your purchase.

Hot Tip:

BreezePoints purchases are processed by points.com, meaning they won’t count as an airfare purchase on your credit card. Thus, you should use your best credit card for everyday spending, or use this purchase toward a credit card with a solid welcome bonus right now.

Final Thoughts

For a limited time, you can purchase BreezePoints with up to a 50% discount. As with all point sales, you’ll need to make sure you can redeem them for a greater value than what you’d pay to purchase them. If you can find flights that work, remember to make your purchase before July 27.
