Grab your wine glasses: Hyatt’s JdV brand has a new member in Napa Valley — here’s what you need to know!

Calistoga Motor Lodge and Spa Joins World of Hyatt

Calistoga Motor Lodge and Spa, now part of the JdV by Hyatt collection, has 97 guest rooms and suites. Before the property joined Hyatt, it had recently added 34 new Deluxe King and Deluxe Queen guest rooms, all of which have a private terrace or balcony with views of the Mayacamas Mountains.

Additionally, the hotel will add 5 villas with outdoor terraces and fire pits, bringing the room count to 102 rooms in 2024.

Amenities include 2 natural mineral water pools, a mineral water hot tub, a spa, and an eatery serving Italian and Mediterranean cuisines.

“Calistoga Motor Lodge and Spa demonstrates Hyatt’s commitment to growing the JdV by Hyatt portfolio with one-of-a-kind boutique hotels in key leisure markets to meet the continued demand from our guests and members looking to live in the moment and celebrate the joy of life,” said David Tarr, senior vice president of development, Americas, at Hyatt.

After Calistoga Motor Lodge joined the Hyatt family, the JdV by Hyatt brand now has more than 50 open hotels. And the chain is planning for even more expansion in California, with the Hyatt Regency Irvine, Thompson Palm Springs, Caption by Hyatt Roseville, and Caption by Hyatt Sacramento slated to open in 2023 and beyond.

How To Book

Calistoga Motor Lodge and Spa is now bookable through Hyatt, which means you can redeem World of Hyatt points for stays, or you can pay cash.

Calistoga Motor Lodge and Spa is a Category 6 property, which means award night start at 21,000 points per night and go up to 29,000 points per night.

While it’s not the easiest to earn World of Hyatt points, if you have a card that earns Chase Ultimate Rewards or Bilt Rewards points, you can transfer them to World of Hyatt at a 1:1 ratio.

Final Thoughts

This is an exciting opening, especially for travelers who want to be close to the action in Napa Valley. It’s even more exciting that the hotel is offering 17% off stays for World of Hyatt members. If you’re interested in a stay, make sure to book before the promotion ends on September 1!
