Capital One has just launched a new transfer bonus to Virgin Red, the combined loyalty program for all things Virgin — flights, cruises, hotels, and more.

This offer provides a 30% bonus on transfers through October 2, 2025. That means your miles will go further when turning them into Virgin Points and booking whatever is that makes your next trip fantastic.

Let’s take a look at the details of this bonus.

Get 30% More Virgin Points With This Capital One Transfer Bonus

Capital One added Virgin Red as a transfer partner back in 2022. Virgin Red, for those unfamiliar, is not the same as Virgin Atlantic Flying Club — though the 2 work together and allow you to move points between them at no cost.

Typically, turning your Capital One miles into Virgin Points is done at a 1:1 ratio, and you must transfer in increments of 1,000.

With this 30% transfer bonus, however, you can transfer Capital One miles to Virgin Red at a 1:1.3 ratio. That means 1,000 Capital One miles become 1,300 Virgin Points. This offer is available through 5:59 a.m. ET on October 2, 2025 — yes, it ends in the morning.

Once you link your Capital One and Virgin Red accounts, you’ll be able to transfer. The bonus is clearly listed when you initiate a transfer, so there’s no guesswork involved.

What Can You Do With Virgin Points?

Virgin Red offers point redemptions with Virgin Voyages (cruises), Virgin Hotels (lodging), lifestyle partners, and more. You can also move points between Virgin Red and Virgin Atlantic Flying Club for flight redemptions.

For example, you can book a trip on a Virgin Voyages cruise, including the new Brilliant Lady ship, or other ships starting around 295,000 points for a 2-person reservation, including meals and drinks.

Flying more your style? You can move your points to Flying Club and then redeem with Virgin Atlantic for flights in the airline’s renowned Upper Class (business), or use them to fly on SkyTeam partners like Delta, Air France, and KLM.

Final Thoughts

Through October 2, you’ll get a 30% transfer bonus when you send Capital One miles to Virgin Red. With the Virgin Red program, you have many options for using Virgin Points, including non-travel redemptions — though the best value comes from travel, and you can use points for hotels, cruises, and flights.
