Cathay Pacific’s Black Friday Sale — The Details

From now through November 30, 2025, Cathay Pacific is offering its Black Friday sale, which features discounts on round-trip flights to more than 80 destinations in the economy, premium economy, and business class cabins.

The eligible travel window is from January 10 through May 23, 2026, and from August 1 through October 24, 2026, for flights to Hong Kong. It’s from January 10 through May 13, 2026, and from August 3 through October 24, 2026, to all other destinations.

The airline advertises fares from $552 round-trip, but we’re seeing prices that are just slightly lower than that to select destinations, like this itinerary from Los Angeles (LAX) to Ho Chi Minh City (SGN) for about $550 round-trip:

Note, too, that prices can be higher depending on your destination. And, of course, tickets in premium economy or business class will be more expensive.

If you’re a member of the Cathay loyalty program, you can save even more money:

  • An additional $50 on economy tickets when you use the code BFUS50
  • An additional $75 on premium economy tickets when you use the code BFUS75
  • An additional $100 on business class tickets when you use the code BFUS100

If you’re not a member, you can sign up for free here.

There are a few other things to note:

  • Blackout dates apply.
  • Sale prices apply to all of Cathay Pacific’s U.S. gateways, which include Boston (BOS), Chicago (ORD), Dallas Fort Worth (DFW), Los Angeles, New York (JFK), San Francisco (SFO), and Seattle (SEA).
  • Sale prices apply only to round-trip fares.

Not only is Cathay Pacific one of our favorite carriers in the region, but it also offers a solid amount of service to the U.S., facilitating easy, 1-stop connections to destinations across Asia via its Hong Kong hub. If you want to book, remember to do so before November 30!
