Great news for Chase cardholders: the issuer is renewing its DoorDash partnership for a few more years.

“Introducing these new benefits in addition to our ongoing offer of DashPass showcases our commitment in bringing the utmost convenience that we can to our cardmembers’ lives,” said Dana Pouwels, head of strategic card partnerships at Chase. “We’re pleased to continue our DoorDash partnership and provide our Chase Sapphire and other cardmembers with enhanced offers on grocery and convenience.”

This partnership, which includes a DoorDash DashPass membership with several Chase cards, can provide considerable everyday value for those who frequently order takeout and delivery. Here’s what you should know!

Chase and DoorDash Partnership Renewed

The DoorDash benefit on select Chase cards was originally slated to end on December 31, 2024. Since the partnership was first introduced in 2020, many cardholders have been enjoying 3 months to 1 year of DoorDash DashPass, which offers free delivery and reduced service fees for orders over $12.

Now, the DoorDash partnership has been extended through December 31, 2027, for the Chase Sapphire Reserve®, Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card, and the J.P. Morgan Reserve® cards. Those who have not yet activated this benefit now have 3 more years to do so and will receive at least 12 months of the DashPass membership.

Meanwhile, eligible cardholders who already activated the benefit will enjoy DashPass benefits through the end of 2027.

Those with the Chase Freedom Flex®, Chase Freedom Unlimited®, Chase Freedom® card, and the Chase Slate® who had never activated DashPass and enroll by December 31, 2027, could enjoy 6 months of the membership.

For co-branded cards, cardholders who activate the benefit by December 31, 2027, will receive at least a 12-month DashPass membership.

New DoorDash “Non-Restaurant” Credits on Chase Cards

To make the deal even sweeter, there are new DoorDash credits on eligible Chase cards. However, they’re only available for grocery, convenience, and other non-restaurant orders on DoorDash.

  • Chase Sapphire Reserve card, J.P. Morgan Reserve card: Receive 2 credits every month of up to $10 in non-restaurant credit.
  • Chase Sapphire Preferred card: Receive 1 credit every month of up to $10 in non-restaurant credit.
  • Chase Freedom Flex card, Chase Freedom Unlimited card, Chase Slate card: Receive 1 credit every quarter of up to $10 in non-restaurant credit.
Hot Tip:

Chase Sapphire Reserve card and J.P. Morgan Reserve cardholders will continue to receive up to $5 monthly in DoorDash credit, but starting on February 1, 2025, they’ll only be available to use specifically at restaurant orders (rather than any merchant available on the app).

Final Thoughts

We’re glad to see this popular perk extended for another few years. We’re not totally surprised by the renewed partnership, as Chase and DoorDash launched the DoorDash Rewards Mastercard, which was released in 2023.

In any case, eligible Chase cardholders will continue to save on food delivery with DashPass and enjoy the new credits.
