One of the best business rewards cards on the market, the Ink Business Preferred® Credit Card, has an improved 100,000-point welcome offer.

Here’s a look at the details of the latest welcome bonus offer. Plus, we’ll dive into the highlights of the Ink Business Preferred card to help you decide if it’s worth applying for!

Earn 100,000 Points With the Ink Business Preferred Card

New applicants can earn 100,000 Chase Ultimate Rewards points after you spend $8,000 on purchases in the first 3 months from account opening. These points are worth at least $1,000 in cash-back, however they’re often worth more for travel. However, 100,000 points can also be worth $1,250 toward travel when redeemed through the Chase Travel portal, or $2,000 based on our valuations when you make strategic use of the Chase transfer partners.

While the previous welcome bonus offer on the Ink Business Preferred card was also worth 100,000 points, it required to you spend $15,000 in the first 3 months instead of $8,000 — that’s nearly half the minimum spend required previously.

Ink Business Preferred Card Earning Rates

In addition to the welcome offer, the Ink Business Preferred card is excellent at earning points thanks to these 3x points bonus categories (on the first $150,000 spent in combined purchases across these 4 categories):

  • Travel
  • Shipping purchases
  • Internet, cable, and phone services
  • Advertising purchases made with social media sites and search engines

In other words, cardholders whose business expenses would reach the combined $150,000 threshold could earn up to a massive 450,000 Chase points per year. Plus, you’ll still earn 1x points on all other eligible purchases.

Ink Business Preferred Card Benefits

Similar to many great travel rewards credit cards, the Ink Business Preferred card does come with an annual fee of $95, but with that cardholders also receive these benefits:

  • Cell phone protection: Covers your phone against loss or damage. You can receive up to $1,000 per claim, a maximum of 3 claims per year (a $100 deductible per claim will apply)
  • Purchase protection: Covers purchases made with your card for 120 days against damage or theft, up to $10,000 per claim and $50,000 per account
  • Trip cancellation/trip Interruption insurance: Provides reimbursement for up to $5,000 per covered person and $10,000 per eligible trip for your pre-paid, non-refundable travel expenses
  • Primary rental car insurance: Provides reimbursement for damage due to collision or theft up to the actual cash value of most rental vehicles (when renting for business purposes)
  • Unlimited, complimentary employee cards

If you’ve been on the fence about adding the Ink Business Preferred card to your wallet, now is a great time to do just that.
