Chase Travel has allowed vacation rental bookings on its platform for several months, and now it’s expanding the offering for Chase Sapphire Preferred^® Card and Chase Sapphire Reserve^® cardholders by making Plum Guide listings bookable on the platform.

Here’s what you need to know about this program update.

Plum Guide Homes Now Bookable Through Chase Travel for Sapphire Cardholders

Chase Travel has improved its Vacation Homes program for those who hold the Chase Sapphire Preferred card and the Chase Sapphire Reserve card. Previously, the Vacation Homes program was only available to those with cards from the Freedom and Ink Business families, but later expanded to Sapphire cardholders.

Now, Sapphire cardholders have access to Plum Guide listings via the Chase Travel portal. This means eligible cardholders can earn and redeem Chase Ultimate Rewards points for the extensive Plum Guide listing catalog of cottages, villas, beach houses, and apartments, all in the very best locations.

Plum Guide listings qualify for the platform by meeting or exceeding standards set by a list of over 150 criteria that assess a property’s comfort, design, and location.

Chase Sapphire Preferred cardholders will earn 5 points per $1 on these bookings, while Chase Sapphire Reserve cardholders will earn 8 points per $1.

Aside from Vacation Homes, the Chase Travel portal allows cardholders to book a large variety of travel, including flights, hotels, cruises, car rentals, and even experiences. Cardholders can then pay for their purchases entirely with points, entirely with a Chase credit card, or a combination of both.

If redeeming points, eligible cardholders can get up to 2 cents per point in value via the Points Boost feature.
