The U.S. Transportation Security Administration and CLEAR recently began a partnership, which resulted in CLEAR being the third approved TSA PreCheck enrollment provider, after Idemia and Telos.

Since the beginning of the partnership, the 2 have been steadily expanding the crop of airports across the country where you can enroll for TSA PreCheck, and 6 additional airports have been added to the roster, which currently stands at 33.

Here’s a look at all the details.

Enroll in TSA PreCheck With CLEAR

CLEAR is a program that utilizes biometrics technology for efficient airport security, permitting members to skip the regular TSA security and TSA PreCheck lines.

The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) operates TSA PreCheck, which is one of the 5 Trusted Traveler Programs. TSA PreCheck enables low-risk travelers to streamline the security screening at airports and various locations nationwide.

Enrolling in both programs guarantees that travelers won’t need to endure long security lines … or at least not the lengthy queues they experienced before signing up.

Members of TSA PreCheck now have the option to conveniently renew their memberships and apply for CLEAR at the same time, taking advantage of a bundled deal.

How and Where To Enroll

Applicants can sign up for TSA PreCheck through CLEAR by pre-enrolling online or at a CLEAR enrollment location.

When the partnership rolled out, there were just 3 airport locations available to complete enrollment. Since then, the list has been expanded significantly, and now there are 6 new eligible airports:

With the addition of these 6 airports, the list of approved airports for TSA PreCheck enrollment through CLEAR has grown to a total of 33. They include:

CLEAR typically costs $189 per year, and TSA PreCheck starts at $78 for a 5-year membership. However, if you enroll in TSA PreCheck through CLEAR, you can take advantage of both programs for a discounted bundle rate of $200. Travelers who pre-enroll are required to complete the process within 14 days to secure the discounted price.
