Etihad Airways has launched a limited-time sale on business class tickets. If you’re interested in booking, you’ll need to do so quickly, as the promotion expires on May 21, 2025.

Here’s what you need to know!

Etihad’s Business Class Sale

The deal is valid for travel between June 2 and September 30, 2025, and includes flights originating at Etihad‘s U.S. gateways: Atlanta (ATL), Boston (BOS), Chicago (ORD), New York (JFK), and Washington, D.C. (IAD). This sale covers most of the carrier’s network, including destinations in Asia, India, and Europe.

Discounts vary depending on the destination, but you can save up to 30% on business class fares with Etihad Airways. The Abu Dhabi-based airline is known for providing an excellent business-class experience. Getting up to a 30% discount would allow you to try it out for much less than usual.

Etihad’s business-class passengers can enjoy the airline’s luxurious lounges (certain fares only), lie-flat seats in the air, à la carte dining in flight, and more. Plus, passengers can add a stopover package during the booking process that includes a complimentary 2-night stay at select hotels across Abu Dhabi. Stopover packages must be booked directly with Etihad, either on its website or through its mobile app (iOS, Android).

Hot Tip:

Etihad just announced a brand-new route between Abu Dhabi and Charlotte (CLT) starting in 2026. Here’s everything you should know!

Is It Worth It?

Etihad quotes fares starting at $2,779 for a one-way journey from Boston to New Delhi (DEL). A quick search on Etihad’s site yielded tickets for close to that price, but they were a bit more expensive at $2,867.

Note, too, that these prices are for a “Value” business class ticket, which does not allow for refunds and does not include advance seat selection, lounge access, or Etihad’s chauffeur service. Stepping up to the “Comfort” fare for an additional $104 grants you all of those perks and awards double the Etihad Guest miles that the Value fare does.

If you’re going to book one of these tickets, it seems like a no-brainer to pay an extra $104 to access lounges and other perks Etihad is famous for.

While these tickets are expensive — even with the sale — many Etihad flights take you from 1 corner of the world to the other, so spending just under $3,000 to luxuriate for more than 12 hours (on many routes) in the air may not seem like a bad deal.

If you’re interested in taking advantage of this sale, book your flight using a travel rewards credit card that rewards you for travel purchases. Some of our favorites at Upgraded Points are The Platinum Card® from American Express, the Chase Sapphire Reserve®, and the Capital One Venture X Rewards Credit Card.

Final Thoughts

Etihad is advertising discounted business class tickets across its network. While the sale isn’t earth-shattering, some of its routes offer decent prices. Remember, though, that the lowest prices are for its “unbundled” business-class fares that exclude several perks many travelers consider integral to the business-class experience.

If you’re interested, make sure you book by May 21!
