Sunny Sydney is calling and we are ready to answer with this low-price round-trip with Air Canada for just $973. Let’s dive into the details!

Fare Deal — Details

Sometimes we find a deal so irresistible we recommend you forego the luxuries– and convincing us of this isn’t an easy feat — but at a price of just $973 (nearly half of the average price), you’ll have the opportunity to use your hard-earned cash on the grandeur of Sydney.

Though a flight from New York to Sydney is a long one, Air Canada’s economy class will make you feel right at home with inflight entertainment, inflight food and beverage service, and inflight connectivity. Bring your slippers and buckle in, here’s the deal:

  • Class: Economy
  • Routes: Newark (EWR) to Sydney (SYD)
  • Dates: September 2023 to March 2024
  • Rates: From $973 round trip

The lowest rates can be found on the route from New York (EWR) to Sydney (SYD) with Air Canada:

This works on shorter trips as well, though the layovers may not make it worth it:

Best Ways To Book

These flights can be booked using either an online travel agency (OTA) or directly with Air Canada. We don’t tend to recommend using a third party for bookings, even when it’s cheaper. This is because they tend to be much more difficult to work with in the event that you need to change or cancel your ticket. Still, if getting the cheapest ticket is most important to you, be sure that you use a card such as the Chase Sapphire Reserve®, which earns 3x Ultimate Rewards on all travel purchases.

If you’d prefer to book directly with the airline or via Amex Travel, you can also do so and earn 5x Membership Rewards while you’re at it with The Platinum Card® from American Express (up to $500,000 per year, then 1x).

Final Thoughts

These deals are rare and when we do see a price this low, it tends to be ultra-bare bones. But we’ve found a flight in Air Canada’s economy for $973 round-trip which means you’ll be well taken care of. Hop on this deal before it’s gone!
