Delta’s Centennial kicks off in early 2025, and SkyMiles members can get in on the birthday action.

In January, Delta will have multiple experiences at the Sphere in Las Vegas as part of the Consumer Electronics Show (CES). The main event will be a CES opening day keynote by Delta CEO Ed Bastian, who will address the company’s upcoming innovations.

However, CES ticket holders will also be able to explore an interactive preshow exhibit in the Sphere’s Atrium, enjoy complimentary food and beverages, and partake in an exclusive post-keynote performance.

Here are all the special experiences for Delta SkyMiles members throughout CES.

Interactive Delta Experiences at CES

On January 7, 2025, SkyMiles members can take part in experiences showcasing Delta’s 100-year history. This includes a keynote by CEO Ed Bastian to preview upcoming launches. A CES ticket is required for participation and can be purchased here. Note that CES is a trade-only event for those associated with the consumer technology industry, not the general public.

“This isn’t your typical CES keynote,” said Alicia Tillman, chief marketing officer for Delta, in a statement. “It’s a chance for attendees to experience the Delta brand like never before through immersive exhibits and an unforgettable show, and for SkyMiles Members, we’ll offer even more exclusive opportunities that we’re fast becoming known for.”

Among the events, a “Delta Through the Years” exhibit will feature employee stories, company artifacts, and the impact of Delta Air Lines on the history of aviation. A virtual pilot training experience will give guests a glimpse of what it’s like to fly at 30,000 feet. Guests can also preview a new travel planning platform from Delta dubbed “Delta Locals.”

Before the keynote at the Sphere, from 3 to 5 p.m., complimentary food and beverages will be available featuring items from Delta partners, including Jon & Vinny’s, Biscoff, Starbucks, and more.

Finally, Grammy-award-winning musician Lenny Kravitz will take to the stage at the Sphere for a post-keynote performance.

Special Amex Cardholder Access

Delta Amex cardholders will get exclusive access to VIP entrances at the Sphere for the keynote, plus the ability to purchase items at Delta Gift Shops with limited-edition merchandise, like Delta SkyMiles American Express luggage tags made from retired 747 airplane metal.

Finally, those who hold the high-end Delta SkyMiles® Reserve American Express Card or Delta SkyMiles® Reserve Business American Express Card can access an elevated experience in the Theory Lounge before the keynote. Here, they’ll enjoy light bites, drinks, and live music from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Final Thoughts

Delta SkyMiles members attending CES will have a chance to interact with the airline through a series of activations and a keynote speech from CEO Ed Bastian.

The last time Delta had a keynote at CES was in 2023, when the carrier announced its plans for free Wi-Fi. Stay tuned to see what the airline might reveal this year.
