With fall well underway, it’s prime time for airlines to be looking forward to next summer’s schedules.

Delta is the latest airline to add a bunch of new and returning leisure-focused routes to its network to get you feeling inspired for next summer’s travel. Some will be completely new, some will be an extension of Delta’s winter operations, and some will be returning for summer Saturdays only.

With over 40 routes, this is one of Delta’s most significant single network updates to date.

Delta’s New Saturday Routes From Multiple Airports

Delta will add a total of 10 new summer Saturday flights from its hubs across the country. As some of the schedules are still to be filed, certain routes don’t appear in any flight booking tool yet, including Delta’s website.

While some routes will be a continuation of flights that Delta already operates through the 2025/2026 winter season, the following 3 routes will be completely new:

Details of each route, including its start date (when known), are outlined in the table below.

Austin Remains a Focus Airport for Delta

It’s not just Delta’s hubs that will be getting all the attention next summer.

As Southwest is the biggest airline at Austin-Bergstrom International (AUS), Delta has seen potential to become the airport’s leading full-service carrier.

From June 13, Delta will add 3 new seasonal summer routes, each operating only on Saturdays, to Bozeman, Montana (BZN); Destin-Fort Walton Beach, Florida (VPS); and, Kalispell, Montana (FCA).

It was at only the start of this year that Delta added its first international route from Austin to Cancun (CUN).

30 Leisure Routes Will Return to 7 Delta Hubs

Yes, you read that right.

Delta is reviving 30 of its former leisure routes next summer from hubs such as Atlanta (ATL), Boston (BOS), Detroit (DTW), LaGuardia (LGA), New York-Kennedy (JFK), Minneapolis (MSP), and Seattle (SEA).

Routes will be reintroduced from April through June, with most operating just once per week on Saturdays.

“These new Saturday-only nonstop routes are designed with flexibility and fun in mind, giving travelers more opportunities to explore top leisure destinations without the hassle,” said Amy Martin, vice president of network planning at Delta.

From Atlanta, no less than 9 routes will return, including 5 international destinations:

Hot Tip:

When booking flights with Delta and you’re not using points, we recommend paying with a Delta-cobranded credit card so you can enjoy a host of perks and benefits before, during, and after your flight, plus earn extra SkyMiles on the payment.

Final Thoughts

That’s more routes than I was expecting to write about at this point on a Friday afternoon. While schedule changes are expected when switching between winter and summer seasons, it’s not often that they include as many new routes and resumptions as this.

Delta’s boosted 2026 schedule will certainly provide Delta elites and frequent flyers with lots of new potential travel opportunities for vacations next summer.

So, where will Delta be taking you next summer?
