Set Sail on Disney’s 2026–2027 California and Texas Adventures

For the first time, San Diego will host 2 Disney Cruise Line ships, giving guests even more opportunities to enjoy California’s stunning coastline. The Disney Magic will offer 3- to 7-night voyages from October to November 2026, stopping at Catalina Island, Ensenada, Cabo San Lucas, and Puerto Vallarta.

In November, the Magic transitions to a 14-night voyage to Galveston, Texas, with stops in Puerto Vallarta, Cartagena, and Grand Cayman.

Joining the Magic, the Disney Wonder will sail from San Diego between October 2026 and April 2027. Guests can enjoy 3- to 7-night cruises with visits to Catalina Island, Ensenada, Cabo San Lucas, and Puerto Vallarta.

From November 2026 through April 2027, the Disney Magic will also sail from Galveston, Texas, on 4- to 7-night itineraries. These cruises visit Cozumel, Progreso, Castaway Cay, and Nassau, offering a mix of beach relaxation, cultural exploration, and classic Disney fun.

In addition to the California and Texas sailings, Disney Cruise Line announced that 5 ships will sail from Florida, and 3- and 4-night cruises will return on the Disney Adventure from Marina Bay Cruise Centre in Singapore.

Celebrate the Holidays at Sea With Disney’s Themed Sailings

Disney’s themed sailings are always a hit with guests (myself included), and they’re back for the 2026–2027 season.

Families can celebrate the holidays at sea with “Halloween on the High Seas” from September to October 2026 and “Very Merrytime Cruises” from November to December 2026. Both cruises feature festive décor, themed activities, and special treats for guests of all ages.

Hot Tip:

Early booking is key. Castaway Club members can start reserving staterooms for the extended 2026–2027 sailing dates on August 25, 2025, with general bookings opening September 2.

Final Thoughts

With new California sailings, extended Texas itineraries, and festive-themed cruises returning, Disney Cruise Line offers something for everyone in fall 2026 and spring 2027. Early planning is essential, as these itineraries, especially the special holiday sailings, are likely to fill up quickly.
