Hilton has announced the opening of its first DoubleTree hotel in Morocco.

Located near the city of Marrakech, the DoubleTree by Hilton Ben Guerir Hotel & Residences has 215 guest rooms ranging from standard rooms to 1-bedroom apartments.

The hotel has an onsite restaurant, market, outdoor pool, pool bar, fitness center, 5 meeting rooms, and a grand ballroom.

The DoubleTree offers airport shuttle service to Marrakesh Menara Airport (RAK) and Casablanca Mohammed V International Airport (CMN).

“As tourism continues to grow significantly across the continent, this landmark opening demonstrates our commitment to the region and highlights the exciting opportunities we see for our continued expansion in Morocco, where we plan to more than double our presence in the coming years,” said Andreas Lackner, vice president, Operations, Africa and Indian Ocean, Hilton.

Hilton has 9 properties in development in Morocco, including the debut of the Waldorf Astoria brand (the Waldorf Astoria Tanger) expected to open in 2025.
