The Ritz-Carlton Lodge is about to enter the chat.

Located in rural Australia, the ultra-luxe hotel will come to life in a few months, thanks to 2 of the world’s largest hotel and airline brands joining forces: Emirates and Marriott.

“We’re honoured to collaborate with Emirates on this milestone development, which sees the world’s largest hotelier and the world’s largest international airline come together to reinvigorate the luxury tourism offering in New South Wales,” said Rajeev Menon, president at Marriott.

Let’s take a look at the details.

Emirates Wolgan Valley, a Ritz-Carlton Lodge, Australia

The partnership might be the first of its kind, but the Emirates Wolgan Valley Ritz-Carlton Lodge itself is not entirely new. The 7,000-acre resort has been owned by Emirates since 2006 and was most recently branded as a One&Only property.

Showcasing the high-end, sophisticated luxury synonymous with Ritz-Carlton hotels and yachts, the Ritz-Carlton Lodge will debut upon completion of renovations later in the year. This property will also mark the Ritz-Carlton’s foray into the all-inclusive world.

The 40-suite lodge is tucked away in Australia‘s stunning Great Blue Mountains region, around a 3-hour drive from Sydney International Airport (SYD). It’s so remote that off-road 4-wheel drive or helicopter are the only ways to access the resort.

Guests will relax, unwind, and indulge, surrounded by the area’s unique flora and fauna, in a way similar to what you might expect at a high-end African safari lodge.

When spending time in the exclusive lodges, guests will have their own private pool to enjoy and soak up the Australian sunshine. For even deeper immersion into the Australian wilderness, future plans include offering guests guided journeys into the bush to sleep under the stars.

In terms of pricing, the property isn’t currently showing available to book on Marriott‘s website. However, to give us a bit of an insight into what we might expect, nightly rates at the recently opened Siara, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve, in Mexico start at 100,000 Bonvoy Points and $618.

However, given the all-inclusive and luxurious nature of the Emirates Wolgan Valley, a Ritz-Carlton Lodge, I’d expect rates to be higher than those numbers.

Hot Tip:

Stays at ultra-luxe resorts like this are never cheap. However, thanks to Marriott Bonvoy, we expect this property to be available for points bookings in the near future. Using points here could help you save a significant amount of cash on your stay.

Final Thoughts

Look no further than Emirates Wolgan Valley, a Ritz-Carlton Lodge, if an exclusive escape surrounded by nature is on your travel bucket list for 2026. Ritz-Carlton branching out into the all-inclusive space with its first-ever Lodge promises to be a culinary experience worth paying for. I will certainly be factoring in a visit next time I find myself Down Under — assuming the cost doesn’t have too many digits.
