Update:The offer mentioned below has expired and is no longer available.

If you’re looking to get away this summer, Etihad Airways is offering up to 20% off business class and economy class fares as part of a summer sale. The booking window is limited, so you’ll need to book soon, but the savings can be quite incredible if you’re able to take advantage.

The Sale

This sale is for bookings from June 11, 2023, at 00:01 GST time through June 14 at 23:59 GST time. It’s only a 4-day window to book, so this is one of those scenarios where you should book first and think later in regard to your travel. This sale is to all destinations except to or from the United Arab Emirates.

You’ll need to travel sometime between July 1, 2023, and September 30, 2023, and the flights and fares offered are subject to availability. That said, you can receive up to 20% off in economy class and business class, excluding taxes and other surcharges.

To book, visit the Etihad website and enter the promo code SUMMERSPLASH when searching for your flights. Because the sale is “up to” 20% off, you may find many flights being offered under that amount. That said, airfare discounts rarely happen, so any discount being offered is likely a good one.

This sale is for adults only, so if you’re traveling with children you’ll need to pay full freight for their ticket. Like most sales, because this offer only lasts for a few days, should you need to make an adjustment after that time, you’d be subject to the prevailing rates, which could cost you a lot of money! It’s best to not make any changes, and be sure about what you’re booking now to reduce any disappointment. If you need to make a change, you need to do so directly with Etihad Airways via etihad.com or an Etihad Airways call center.

Final Thoughts

If you’re able to book am Etihad ticket for this summer under this sale, you could save quite a bit of money in either business or economy class! You’ll need to book by June 14, 2023, to take advantage of this offer, and travel by September 30, 2023, but the savings are definitely significant enough to take a look at if you’re in need of a ticket.
