Update:The offer mentioned below has expired and is no longer available.

If you’re looking to get away, Etihad Airways is offering up to 20% off business class and economy class fares as part of its Black Friday sale. The booking window is limited, so you’ll need to make your plans soon, but the savings can be quite incredible if you’re able to take advantage.

The Sale

This sale is for bookings through November 27, 2023, at 2:59 p.m. ET. You only have a few days to book, so this is one of those scenarios where you should book first and think later in regard to your travel. This sale includes flights originating from Boston MA (BOS), Chicago IL (ORD), New York NY (JFK), Toronto (YYZ), and Washington, D.C. (IAD).

You’ll need to travel sometime between January 15, 2024, and June 12, 2024, and the flights and fares offered are subject to availability. That said, you can receive up to 20% off in economy class and business class, excluding taxes and other surcharges. Blackout dates are March 22, 2024, to April 15, 2024.

To book, visit the Etihad website and enter the promo code BLACKFRIDAY20 or WHITEFRIDAY20 when searching for your flights. Because the sale is “up to” 20% off, you may find many flights being offered under that amount. That said, airfare discounts rarely happen, so any discount being offered is likely a good one.

Like most sales, because this offer only lasts for a few days, should you need to make an adjustment after that time, you’d be subject to the prevailing rates, which could cost you a lot of money! It’s best to not make any changes, and be sure about what you’re booking now to reduce any disappointment. If you need to make a change, you need to do so directly with Etihad Airways via or an Etihad Airways call center.

Final Thoughts

If you’re able to book an Etihad ticket at these Black Friday sale prices, you could save quite a bit of money in either business or economy class! You’ll need to book by November 27, 2023, to take advantage of this offer, and travel by June 12, 2024, but the savings are definitely significant enough to take a look at if you’re in need of a ticket.
