Eurostar, the high-speed train connecting London to Paris and other European cities using the Channel Tunnel, is having a sale that can lower the price of a one-way ticket to the equivalent of just $52. That’s far less what Eurostar tickets normally cost.

Let’s take a look at the conditions and dates of this offer.

How To Take Advantage of the Eurostar $52 Sale

Since the 1990s, the Eurostar train has been the most convenient way to travel between London and Paris, as well as to other cities in mainland Europe.

Eurostar is a high-speed train network that operates primarily in Belgium, France, Germany, the Netherlands, and the United Kingdom.

Its most well-known route is between London’s St. Pancras International station and Paris’ Gare du Nord, using the tunnel under the English Channel. Its other main stations are in Amsterdam, Netherlands; Brussels, Belgium; Cologne, Germany; Lille, France; and Rotterdam, Netherlands.

Now, there is a sale for just £39, or $52 at the exchange rate on May 21, for travel between London, Paris, and several of those cities. Here are the relevant conditions:

  • Routes: London to/from Amsterdam, Brussels, Lille, Paris, Rotterdam
  • Class: Eurostar Standard (equivalent to economy)
  • Travel dates: Several dates from June to September 2025, depending on the destination. £39 one-way prices are conditional on the purchase of a round-trip ticket.
  • Book by: No deadline, but availability of discounted seats is limited.

Not all dates have the offer price, and you can use this tool to find the days with the cheapest tickets. To book, you can just proceed from the tool on the Eurostar site as you normally would.

Do note that only passengers in Eurostar Premier class, or holders of high status in the Club Eurostar loyalty program, have access to the Eurostar Business Premier Lounges in London, Brussels, and Paris. The Platinum Card® from American Express does not allow access for U.S. cardholders; only the European versions of the Amex Platinum allow Eurostar lounge access.

Eurostar and the SkyTeam alliance began a partnership last year, which promised seamless connections between air and rail. SkyTeam has major hubs in Amsterdam (AMS) with KLM, London (LHR) with Virgin Atlantic, and Paris (CDG) with Air France. These 3 cities are also major points in the Eurostar network. We don’t know yet what this partnership will entail in practice, but it’s possible that it will result in SkyTeam Elite Plus status holders — including holders of top Delta Air Lines Medallion status — getting access to Eurostar lounges.

Final Thoughts

Eurostar connects London to Paris and other European cities at a top speed of 186 mph, far faster than the Acela, the top offering from the U.S. passenger rail operator Amtrak. The thrill of crossing from Britain to continental Europe at high speed under the English Channel need not be expensive. With this sale from Eurostar, you can swing it for as low as $52.

Taking the train is the fastest way to get between London and Paris, easily beating the plane from city center to city center. We recommend taking a look at this offer if your travels take you to the Europe this summer.
