Have the Azores been on your mind? If not, they should be.

Located in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean between North America and Europe, this archipelago of islands is both incredible and incredibly expensive to travel to, especially if you’re looking to fly in business class.

If you’ve been eyeing a trip to this incredible place, keep reading, because we’ve found some heavily discounted airfare to the islands.

Fare Deal — Details

These flights are nearly 50% off their usual costs and are flown by a combination of JetBlue and Azores Airlines, which means you’ll be able to experience JetBlue’s excellent Mint seats on your way across the country to catch your flight to the islands.

  • Class: Business
  • Routes: Denver (DEN), Las Vegas (LAS), Los Angeles (LAX), Phoenix (PHX), San Diego (SAN), San Francisco (SFO), or Seattle (SEA) to Ponta Delgada (PDL)
  • Dates: February to April 2023
  • Rates: As low as $1,706 round-trip

The cheapest flights we found originate in Seattle (SEA) and terminate in Ponta Delgada (PDL):

The sale is widespread, however, which means we’re seeing excellent rates from cities all over the West Coast. This includes Los Angeles (LAX) to Ponta Delgada (PDL):

You’ll also find flights for a little bit more money from other airports, including San Diego (SAN):

Best Ways To Book

These flights can’t be booked online. Instead, you’ll need to call JetBlue to get these booked. Although this is a bit of a pain, it’s worth it for the amazing deal you’ll be getting. Since you’re booking with JetBlue, you’ll want to use a credit card that’ll maximize your earnings for booking directly with the airline.

The Platinum Card® from American Express is a good bet for this, as it will earn 5x Membership Rewards points per $1 spent on flights purchased directly with the airline or with AmexTravel.com (up to $500,000 per year). We value Amex points at 2.2 cents each; this means you’ll be netting an 11% return on your booking when using this card.

Hot Tip: Check out our guide to recommended websites and apps that offer flight deal alerts to make sure you don’t miss out on the next great travel deal!

Final Thoughts

This is an amazing deal, so if it’s something you’re interested in, run — don’t walk — to find your flights and dates. Along the way, enjoy JetBlue’s excellent business class and the spectacular scenery of the Azores!
