We have some big news to share from Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts: the ultra-luxe hotel brand is opening a brand-new resort in Los Cabos, Mexico.

Here’s what you need to know!

Second Four Seasons in Baja California

Four Seasons has announced Four Seasons Resort and Residences Cabo San Lucas at Cabo Del Sol. The resort will have 96 guest rooms, casitas, suites, and villas, plus 61 residences, villas, and estates.

Located steps from the beach, the resort will offer 3 pools, 8 bars and restaurants, a spa, and programming for kids. Guests will also have access to a golf course.

The resort is 30 minutes from Los Cabos International Airport (SJD) and 15 minutes from Cabo San Lucas International Airport (CSL).

“From our stunning location and best-in-class accommodations to our immersive design, culturally-inspired programming, and epicurean adventures — all under the thoughtful care of our unrivaled Four Seasons team — Cabo Del Sol brings an entirely singular experience to the destination with our modern approach to a traditional hacienda-style resort,” said General Manager Richard Raab.

The hotel will open for guests on May 1, 2024, though reservations can be made now. You’ll find rates from $960 per night (for a Casita room) for August dates.

Four Seasons doesn’t have a traditional loyalty program, which means you can’t earn elite status or points. You’ll want to book through Four Seasons Preferred Partner, American Express Fine Hotels + Resorts, or The Luxury Hotel & Resort Collection from Chase. You’ll receive perks like room upgrades, resort credits, and complimentary breakfast.

Hot Tip:

Four Seasons is running several offers for this new hotel. One is a nightly credit of $300 that can be used on charges like the spa and dining — and there is no limit on how many credits you can receive!

About Four Seasons Hotels

Four Seasons is considered to be one of the world’s most exclusive hotel chains.

The brand emphasizes a high level of attention to detail, gorgeous rooms, and luxury spa and dining options. Today, you’ll find 128 Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts and 53 residential properties in 47 countries. More than 50 are currently in the planning or development stages.

In recent years, Four Seasons has expanded to offer private jet itineraries and experiences at sea through Four Seasons Yachts.

This is the brand’s second property in Baja, California, after the Four Seasons Resort and Residences Los Cabos at Costa Palma. Four Seasons has an impressive Mexican portfolio with properties in Mexico City, Tamarindo, and more.

Final Thoughts

This is fantastic news for fans of the Four Seasons brand, who will now have 2 high-end resort options in the Los Cabos area. While cash rates aren’t the cheapest, the price is worth it for a stay at a resort chock-full of amenities, plus Four Seasons’ world-famous hospitality!
