Frontier’s Big Expansion Starts in October

Frontier Airlines is launching over a dozen new routes this fall, which include new cities such as Corpus Christi, Texas (CRP), and Richmond, Virginia (RIC), as well as returning cities like Tulsa, Oklahoma (TUL).

The routes are scheduled to begin as early as October 7, 2025. Most will operate 2 or 3 times per week, but more popular routes, such as those between Newark (EWR) and New York (JFK) to the Chicago area, will operate 4 times weekly.

“With new destinations in Texas and Virginia, our return to Tulsa, Oklahoma, and new routes between several of our top cities, now is a better time than ever for consumers to give Frontier a try and experience the comfort, convenience and savings we are known for,” said Josh Flyr, vice president of network and operations design at Frontier Airlines.

Here are the new routes and their frequencies:

Final Thoughts

Frontier Airlines is being strategic by announcing 15 new routes in time for the fall travel season. The new routes will connect to some interesting and exciting destinations, such as Corpus Christi and Denver. However, it will also provide travelers with more flight options on busier routes, such as New York to Chicago.
