Low-cost Frontier Airlines is back with more exciting news. The airline is starting flights from the popular ski town Vail (EGE) to Dallas, Denver, and San Francisco.

Here’s everything you need to know — and how to book the new routes at a great deal!

Frontier Expands Presence in Vail

Frontier has begun 2x weekly flights from Colorado’s Eagle County Regional Airport (EGE) to Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW) and Denver (DEN). The airline also will start once-weekly service to San Francisco (SFO) on December 21, 2024.

Eagle County might not immediately ring a bell, but it’s home to the famed Vail municipality ski town. Snow lovers descend on the region by the thousands to ski, snowboard, and spa each winter.

“There is strong demand across the country for ultra-low fare travel to the Rockies, and we are thrilled to debut at EGE just in time for the peak ski and snowboard season,” said Josh Flyr, vice president of network and operations design at Frontier Airlines.

If you’re eyeing one of these new routes — and we don’t blame you — you’re in luck. Flights start at just $19 each way, depending on route, when you book by January 11, 2025.

This promo fare is valid on select days of the week between January 6, 2025, and April 17, 2025. Note that there are numerous blackout dates: January 17-20; February 14 and 16-17; March 7-9, 14-16, 21-23, and 28-30, 2025; and April 4-6 and 11-13, 2025.

Keep in mind that the cheapest tickets include little beyond a personal item. As a low-cost airline, Frontier keeps costs down by passing on extra fees like checked bags and seat selection to the customer.
