Frontier Airlines has been on a roll lately with new routes, and new flights from California’s Hollywood Burbank (BUR) Airport have caught our eye.

New Frontier Routes From the West Coast

Frontier Airlines announced on November 21, 2024, that it was returning to Hollywood Burbank Airport (BUR) with nonstop flights to Denver (DEN), Phoenix (PHX), and San Francisco (SFO). These routes were originally announced earlier this year, and now they’re live, including solid frequency and low pricing for a limited time.

“We are thrilled to be back at Hollywood Burbank Airport, offering consumers in the greater Los Angeles area ultra-low-cost travel options to San Francisco, Phoenix and Denver just in time for holiday travel,” said Josh Flyr, Frontier’s vice president of network and operations design.

Burbank is often used by budget travelers as a lower-cost option than flying from the much-busier Los Angeles (LAX).

This has been an interesting week for Frontier. Earlier this week, the budget airline launched over a dozen new routes across 21 airports for 2025. They include a transcontinental route between Los Angeles (LAX) and Orlando (MCO) and a flight to the Caribbean island of Antigua and Barbuda (ANU).
