The gifted status can be used from January 13 through December 31, 2025.

How To Share Your Hertz President’s Circle or Five Star Status

Once you have chosen the lucky recipient of your Hertz elite status gift, you will need to complete the following steps:

• Log in to your Hertz Gold Plus account
• Visit the Give the Gift of Elite Status page
• Complete the form

The process is very simple, and both parties will receive a confirmation email when the gifting is complete.

You must complete the form by December 31, 2024.

Hertz Gold Plus Rewards Benefits

At the very least, anyone renting from Hertz should sign up for Hertz Gold Plus rewards purely for the fact that you can skip the line and go right to your assigned car. That can be a huge timesaver.

However, with Five Star or President’s Circle elite status, members can choose their own cars, receive upgrades, earn bonus points, and more.
