Update:The offer mentioned below has expired and is no longer available.

Hilton is out with its latest promotion for 2023 called Double Up & Explore. This promotion will allow you to earn double the points on all stays, and also rewards you for stays at individual brands, encouraging you to stay around the entire Hilton portfolio.

The Promotion

This Double Up & Explore promotion rewards 2 things — every stay at Hilton properties worldwide and staying at different Hilton brands. You can earn double the points on all stays, no matter the length or destination, and then also earn 1,000 points for every new brand you stay at. Once you stay at a brand, you can only earn the 1,000 bonus points once, so it pays to try and stay in as many of Hilton’s 18 brands as possible to maximize the promotion.

Fortunately, you can earn the double points on every stay as there’s no minimum night requirement, and you’re able to immediately start earning the points with your first stay. Be sure to register before your first stay so you can earn the double points. Fortunately, previous reservations will count toward this offer; you don’t need to rebook anything in order for it to count.

This promotion is valid from January 1 to April 30, and like most promotions, you need to check out by April 30th in order to be eligible to get the points. If you have a trip going past that date, consider breaking up your stay into 2 separate reservations. If you check in before January 1, you’re good to go so long as you check out past that date.

Even if you have award stays booked, you’re in luck. Award stays will count under this promotion, though mainly for the 1,000 points for staying in a different brand as you don’t earn points on award stays except for incidental spending.

Keep in mind that certain corporate or negotiated rates may not count for earning points, so when in doubt, check with Hilton regarding your specific circumstances.

Once you complete your stay, your points will post to your account within 6 to 8 weeks, though usually, it’s much quicker than that.

Hot Tip: Earn even more points by putting your reservation on a Hilton Honors-branded credit card. Learn more about how to earn and redeem Hilton Honors points for maximize value in our detailed guides!

Final Thoughts

Earning double points is definitely a reason you may want to consider staying at Hilton for your hotel needs from January 1 through April 30. If you can stay across different brands, you’ll pick up some extra points as well. Be sure to register first so you’re good to go for earning.
