Hilton Honors Experiences is a platform that allows Hilton Honors members to bid on —- or purchase outright — unique experiences with their Hilton Honors points.

While it’s not a new program, Hilton has just unveiled some new additions to the platform that should pique the interest of many members.

“Whether they love music, sports, the great outdoors, or elevated offerings only available at Hilton, there will be new experiences to discover that allow our members to put their Points where their passions are,” said Jenn Chick, Global Head & Senior Vice President, Hilton Honors & Customer Engagement.

Let’s take a look at the new offerings on deck for Hilton Honors members through the Hilton Honors Experiences platform.

The Hilton Honors Experiences platform gives members more options for using their points by allowing them to redeem them for unique experiences, meals, massages, and so much more.

Now, Hilton Honors has added a slew of newly available experiences to the platform, centered around “facilitating meaningful connections with the artists and celebrities who inspire their passions,” according to a press release from Hilton.

With these new options, Hilton Honors members will have the opportunity to use points to purchase experiences like visiting Top Golf with country music star Sam Hunt, VIP tickets to the Trans-Siberian Orchestra, a special acoustic performance by Luke Bryan, an exclusive Formula 1 experience with Team McLaren at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, and more.

Here’s a look at the details of some of the newly available experiences through Hilton Honors Experiences:

Is It Worth It?

The answer to this question will depend on what you end up paying for your experience — and what that experience actually is.

We value Hilton Honors points at 0.5 cents apiece. If you were to purchase each of the above experiences at the prices quoted in this post, you’d be using $432 worth of Hilton Honors points for the private lunch in Singapore, $1,375 worth for the Culinary Masters Weekend at the Waldorf Astoria Los Cabos Pedregal, and $650 worth for the tour of the McLaren Technology Centre.

Obviously, since all of the aforementioned experiences are auctions — some with several days of bidding left — you could end up paying much more. But as it stands now, the Culinary Masters Weekend in Los Cabos stands out because it includes a 3-night stay at a resort at which base rooms can easily cost over $1,000 per night.

There are also experiences available for a set amount of points. For example, you can spend just 10,000 Hilton Honors points for a 1-hour massage for 2 at the Conrad Bengaluru in India. According to our valuations, 10,000 Hilton Honors points are worth $50, an incredible deal for 2 massages at a luxury hotel.

When it comes down to it, the value you receive from using your points in this manner depends on how much you value a given experience.

Final Thoughts

We always appreciate travel providers giving us more ways to use our points, and Hilton Honors has unveiled a slate of new and exciting experiences for which members can bid for (or purchase) with Hilton Honors points.

While the value you’ll find will depend on how much you end up paying for a given experience, there are some exciting options available right now, and if you’re able to bid successfully, there’s potential for a tremendous value.
