Hilton Hotels has opened a new Curio Collection hotel on a small island in Vietnam.

Here’s what you need to know about the resort — and how to book using points.

Vietnam’s First Curio Collection Hotel

La Festa Phu Quoc, Curio Collection by Hilton has 197 guest rooms and suites and is located steps from the beach. The hotel is reminiscent of the Amalfi Coast, with its warm building colors, Italian cuisine, and Italian spa.

Amenities include several dining outlets, a beach club (opening in April), a pool, a playground for kids, and a spa. Le Festa is a 30-minute drive to Phu Quoc International Airport (PQC), the island’s main airport.

Located in the Gulf of Thailand, Phu Quoc is best known for its beaches and its national park.

“This milestone market entry demonstrates our great growth momentum and the appeal of Hilton’s brands across Asia Pacific – all positioning us well to capture the growing travel demand in one of the region’s most exciting destinations,” said Alan Watts, president of Asia Pacific at Hilton.

This is the debut of the Curio Collection by Hilton brand in Vietnam. Curio Collection comprises independent hotels in some of the world’s best destinations. Each Curio hotel focuses on distinctive architecture and design, high-quality dining, and service excellence.

How to Book La Festa Phu Quoc

La Festa Phu Quoc has now opened for guests. The hotel is participating in the Hilton Honors program, which means you can earn and redeem points during your trip.

You’ll be able to find cash rates starting at $131 per night for dates this summer.

But you’re in luck if you want to use Hilton Honors points. You’ll spend just 47,000 Hilton Honors points per night on a standard room reward this summer.

Hilton no longer uses an award chart, meaning rates can be higher or lower depending on travel dates and availability.

Hot Tip:

Hilton Honors points are 1 of the easiest hotel points to earn. You can earn Hilton points through a co-branded credit cardtransferring points from American Express, taking a Lyft, or dining out with Hilton Honors Dining.

Final Thoughts

La Festa Phu Quoc is an intriguing resort since it resembles an Italian resort on the Amalfi Coast rather than a property in Vietnam. Still, it’s a gorgeous hotel with spacious rooms and amenities befitting the Curio Collection brand. Even better, the resort is affordable using cash or points, making it a sweet spot for travelers visiting Vietnam!
