In advance of the summer travel season, Hilton has launched its latest promotion for members of the Hilton Honors loyalty program.

Here’s a quick rundown of all you need to know about the promotion, including the rules and a look at how much you could earn.

With the More Nights, More Points promotion, you can earn double the points on all stays between May 2 and September 5, 2022. If you stay 3 nights or longer, you’ll earn triple points per stay as long as the stay falls within the promotional period. And, there’s no limit to the number of bonus points you can earn through this promotion.

Note that you must register to be eligible to earn the bonus points, and be aware that it may take up to 8 weeks for the bonus points to post to your Honors account.

How Much Can You Earn?

Hilton defines “Double Points” as bonus points in the amount equal to the number of base points earned on stays, while “Triple Points” means bonus points in the amount equal to double the base points earned on stays. Typically, Hilton awards 10 base points per dollar spent on stays, though extended-stay brands earn 5 base points per dollar spent.

Taking advantage of this promotion will allow you to earn 20 points per dollar spent on stays up to 2 nights at most brands, while you’ll earn 30 points per dollar spent on stays 3 nights or longer at non-extended-stay brands.

You’ll earn even more points if you have elite status with Hilton Honors and/or pay for your stays with a Hilton co-branded credit card.

Let’s take a look at the scenario that would allow you to earn the maximum number of points per dollar with this promotion.

If you book a 3-night stay at a full-service Hilton brand, you’ll earn the 30 points per dollar spent through the promotion. If you hold the Hilton Honors American Express Aspire Card, you’ll automatically earn an additional 10 points per dollar spent thanks to having Diamond elite status, which comes as a perk of the card. Then, you’ll earn another 14 points per dollar spent if you pay for your stay with the card. This will yield you a whopping 54 points per dollar spent

Final Thoughts

Earning double or (even better) triple Hilton Honors points per dollar on stays is nothing to scoff at, especially considering that you have to factor in these bonuses on top of what you’ll already earn for Hilton stays and any bonuses you’ll receive for having status or a co-branded credit card.

If you have Hilton stays on the calendar within the next few months, make sure you’re registered for this promotion so that you can earn tons more points to use on stays further in the future.
