Hilton Grand Vacations, Hilton Hotels’ vacation ownership brand, is back with a new promotion at several of its most popular destinations in the U.S., but this time, you can earn some valuable Hawaiian Airlines HawaiianMiles.

If you can handle sitting through a timeshare presentation, this can be a great deal.

Let’s take a look at the details.

Timeshare Promotion With Discounted Stays Plus Points

Right now, we are seeing Hilton Grand Vacation offers from 3 to 5 nights at popular destinations plus bonus Hawaiian Airlines HawaiianMiles.

15,000-Point Offer

These offers provide 15,000 bonus Hawaiian Airlines HawaiianMiles and a 3 to 5-night stay starting at $149.

Current destinations include:

  • Las Vegas, Nevada: $149 for 3 nights
  • Southern California: $299 for 3 nights
  • Kauai, Hawaii: $649 for 3 nights
  • Waikoloa, Hawaii: $649 for 5 nights
  • Maui, Hawaii: $1,399 for 4 nights
  • Southern California: $299 for 3 nights

You can check all current offers online.

Reservations are non-refundable and must be used within 12 months of purchase.

Requirements and Restrictions

Like other vacation ownership programs, there are some restrictions to keep in mind with these offers. You aren’t eligible for this deal if you have an open, incomplete package requiring attendance at a sales presentation or have attended a Hilton Grand Vacations sales presentation within the last year.

In addition, you must attend a 2-hour timeshare sales presentation — or a 1-hour presentation if you’re a current owner — to be eligible.

You have up to 12 months to take advantage of the deal, but a $19.95 charge will apply to each reservation change made up to 7 days before arrival. If you change your reservation or arrival dates within 7 days before arrival, you will be charged the equivalent of 1 night.

Note that Hilton Grand Vacations stays won’t earn Hilton Honors points because Hilton Grand Vacations has its own loyalty program, HGV Club.

You also won’t get many Hilton Honors elite benefits when staying at an HGV property. Additionally, remember that Hilton Grand Vacations stays won’t count towards qualifying for Hilton Honors elite status.

Is It Worth It?

This deal offers 15,000 Hawaiian Airlines HawaiianMiles. We value HawaiianMiles at 0.9 cents apiece, meaning that 15,000 miles is worth $135.

Plus, you can easily transfer your HawaiianMiles to the Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan, which increases their value even further.

If you plan to travel during the peak season, these offers can provide a significant discount. For instance, cash rates at these properties during prime spring break season can cost well over $220 per night. So, if you’re trying to save some cash and don’t mind a mandatory sales pitch, this is a pretty good deal.

While some may find it difficult to sacrifice vacation time for a sales pitch, those prepared to endure a timeshare presentation can find significant value in these offers.

Final Thoughts

This is a pretty solid deal, especially if you want an affordable way to visit some very popular destinations across the U.S. and are looking for some bonus Hawaiian (or Alaska) miles. Just make sure to book before the expiration date and carve some time out for the mandatory sales presentation during your trip.
