IHG Hotels & Resorts now has 150 Hotel Indigo properties worldwide, with the most recent addition being Hotel Indigo Kuala Lumpur on the Park. The new hotel has views of Bukit Nanas, the city’s only remaining virgin tropical rainforest. Like properties across other cities, Hotel Indigo Kuala Lumpur will surely be as unique as its city.

Keep reading to learn more.

Culture and Sustainability at the Forefront

Hotel Indigo Kuala Lumpur on the Park was designed with sustainability as a central focus. In the lobby lives a vertical garden, a staircase built from railway sleepers, and repurposed steel bars from the hotel’s construction. Reception desks were made from rescued Malaysian tree roots. And there is artwork made from recycled plastic bottles and used books.

A library in the lobby allows guests to discover books by local writers, both for rent and for sale. Items such as hand-woven baskets sold in support of the Penan Community, an indigenous nomadic community from East Malaysia, are also for sale.

The hotel features 180 guest rooms, and amenities include a rooftop 24-hour fitness center and an outdoor pool.

Guests can enjoy 2 on-property restaurants: Wok Star, which serves Malaysian cuisine, and steakhouse The Silver Monkey.

Booking Hotel Indigo Kuala Lumpur

Hotel Indigo Kuala Lumpur on the Park is open now and accepting guest reservations. The best way to book in cash or points is directly through the hotel’s website. As an IHG Hotels & Resorts property, free nights start at 18,000 IHG One Rewards points per night.

If you’re looking to accumulate points to redeem for future stays, IHG has 3 co-branded credit cards that you can choose from. Alternatively, you can transfer Chase Ultimate Rewards to IHG at a 1:1 ratio to redeem for a free night.
