Bahia Principe is running what its Happiness Sale, and the discounts run as high as 50% off across 22 resorts in the Caribbean, Mexico, and Spain.

The booking window closes September 17, but you have all the way until December 31, 2027, to complete your stay.

Now that the Bahia Principe brand is part of World of Hyatt’s Inclusive Collection, that means these properties count toward status qualification, earn Hyatt points, and afford you extra perks if you have elite status.

What Is Bahia Principe?

Bahia Principe is a Spanish-based, all-inclusive chain with a heavy footprint in the Dominican Republic, Mexico’s Riviera Maya, Jamaica, and the Canary Islands. The brand classifies its properties as Explore resorts (family-friendly) and Escape resorts (adults-only), and there are a handful of 5-star flagship resorts mixed in.

The World of Hyatt connection comes from a 2024 partnership with Grupo Piñero, which brought Bahia Principe into the Inclusive Collection portfolio inside World of Hyatt.

That means guests can earn and redeem World of Hyatt points at these resort and earn elite night credits. Globalists get benefits like waived resort fees and room upgrades when available.

Bahia Principe’s Happiness Sale

This new sale requires booking by September 17, 2026, and offers multiple benefits:

Up to 50% off at 22 participating hotels
First child (ages 2 to 12) stays free at Caribbean properties on qualifying dates
Free room upgrades at some resorts
Free cancellation available
An extra 5% off for World of Hyatt Loyalty members booking direct and an extra 3% on nonrefundable rates

The first-child-free benefit applies to Caribbean stays from now through October 31, 2026, and again from May 1 through October 31, 2027. Bahia Principe Explore El Portillo has a narrower window of August 21 through October 31, 2027. Properties in Spain keep their standard child discounts (25% at Fantasia, 50% at Costa Adeje and San Felipe).

Free upgrades are limited to 9 properties, including Escape Coral Playa, Explore San Felipe, Escape Tenerife, Explore Punta Cana, Explore La Romana, Escape Samana, Escape Runaway Bay, and Explore Tulum.

What kinds of prices can you find with this sale?

Here are a few examples: Bahia Principe Escape Samana is advertising rates from $139 per night, Explore La Romana from $166, Explore Turquesa from $176, Escape Aquamarine from $189, Explore Punta Cana from $202, and Escape Bouganville from $211.

There are some exceptions to the eligible stay dates: Bahia Principe Escape Samana is bookable for stays from November 1, 2026, Explore Jamaica and Explore Costa Adeje from December 1, 2026, and Escape Coral Playa’s 2027 season opens on May 1, 2027.
