Hyatt’s latest promotion offers double points on 2 of its most prolific and most cost-efficient brands: Hyatt Place and Hyatt House. We love any opportunity to earn bonus points, so this is welcome news.

Here are the details of Hyatt’s newest promotion.

2x Points at Hyatt Place and Hyatt House

Now through October 15, 2024, you can earn double points on stays at Hyatt Place and Hyatt House hotels worldwide. That’s over 550 hotels where you can pick up double World of Hyatt points. Usually, Hyatt members earn 5 base points per dollar spent. With this promotion that’s increased to 10 points per dollar.

To earn 2x points, you’ll need to register here before your first stay — and no later than September 15, 2024.

There are a few things you’ll want to keep in mind:

  • Registration is required. You’ll need to register by September 15, 2024, to be eligible to earn bonus points.
  • You’ll earn double points for every stay after registration through October 15, 2024.
  • Any stay where you’re paying an eligible rate, including free night awards, will count.
  • You can earn a maximum of 25,000 points with this promotion.
  • Only base points are doubled. If you have Hyatt elite status, the extra points you earn based on your status are bonus points and, therefore, won’t be doubled.
  • Allow up to 3 weeks for the bonus points to be posted to your account.
Hot Tip:

If paying a cash rate, use a credit card that maximizes rewards earned on Hyatt stays, such as The World of Hyatt Credit Card, which earns up to 9x total points on Hyatt stays and comes with World of Hyatt Discoverist status.

Final Thoughts

Any opportunities for bonus points are fantastic. If you’re eyeing a Hyatt Place or Hyatt House property for upcoming travel, make sure you register for this promotion before check-in. You must register by September 15 and complete your stays by October 15 to earn double points.

Even if you don’t have travel planned during the promotion, it’s always a good idea to register just in case your plans change.
