Hyatt has released a new promotion for stays in Latin America where you can get the third or fourth night of your stay free when you book using a specific promotion code. This can be a great offer to save you money and can be an easy way to extend your trip without incurring too much additional cost.

Terms of the Offer

To take advantage of this offer, you need to book your stay by March 9, 2023, and stay by July 31, 2023. In order to get the third or fourth night free, you should use the code SUNNY in the promotion code box when looking up room rates.

Unfortunately, Hyatt hasn’t specifically said which properties allow you to get a third night free vs. a fourth night free, so you’ll need to try each property 1 by 1 to see which offer is available.

There are a few things you should be aware of with this offer:

The free night can only be used during your stay, so it’s not eligible for future use.
The free night will unfortunately not earn any World of Hyatt points or credit.
This offer rewards longer stays, so at a minimum, you’ll need to stay 3 or 4 nights to take advantage.
Unfortunately, if there is a resort fee, it will apply on the free night.

While this offer won’t apply on a stay that’s been previously booked (because you need to use the promotion code), there’s nothing preventing you from canceling a previously booked stay and then rebooking it using the SUNNY code.

Final Thoughts

If you’re staying in Latin America, this offer can be a good way to save money on longer stays. Be careful, however, as sometimes these sales that involve a free night make the other nightly rates higher than what you may be able to find publicly elsewhere, making this offer not worthwhile.
