Hyatt Hotels has just announced that the Hyatt Regency Hainan Ocean Paradise Resort in China is now open for guests.
Let’s take a look at the new hotel!
New Hainan Resort Has 1,000 Rooms and Suites
The new Hyatt Regency Hainan Ocean Paradise Resort is part of the Hainan R&F Ocean Paradise project, which includes the Hyatt Regency, a water park, and other marine-themed hotels. The hotel is located within the Hainan R&F Ocean Paradise Resort theme park, and guests will have direct access to the park.
The property is an hour’s drive from Sanya Phoenix International Airport (SYX), which serves Air China, China Eastern Airlines, and China Southern.
Hyatt Regency Hainan Ocean Paradise Resort has 1,000 rooms with 29 suites, all of which include a private balcony with ocean, resort, mountain, or garden views. Guests in Regency Club rooms may easily access the third-floor Regency Club and terrace to check in and out of the hotel.
The Hyatt Regency Hainan Ocean Paradise Resort also includes more than 100 “Family Rooms,” with sleeping caves for children.
The resort includes 3 waterfront restaurants, 3 swimming pools (including 1 for children), and 43,000 square feet for meetings and events.
“Guests of Hyatt Regency Hainan Ocean Paradise Resort will encounter new perspectives on vacation, relaxation and collaborations surrounded by breathtaking views of the South China Sea and Hainan Island,” Jenkin Li, General Manager of Hyatt Regency Hainan Ocean Paradise Resort, said in a statement.
Li went on to say that the hotel aimed to provide guests with the Hyatt Regency brand’s “seamless and energizing stays.”
As a Category 2 World of Hyatt property, award nights start at 6,500 points per night off-peak, 8,000 points per night for standard, and 9,500 points per night for peak nights. Guests can also use a Hyatt Category 1-4 Free Night Certificate at this property. Cash rates are also pretty reasonable, with dates this fall starting at just $99 per night.
Hyatt is expanding further into China with the opening of the Hyatt Regency Hainan Ocean Paradise Resort. And with it being a Category 2 property, it is a steal, particularly if you want to use your points or free night certificates. If you have a stay coming up in the Hainan region, the new Hyatt Regency may want to be at the top of your list!
