Update:The offer mentioned below has expired and is no longer available.

IHG One Rewards is out with its latest promotion. And this time, it’s a dual offer that will allow you to earn 2,000 bonus points for every 2 qualifying nights or 10,000 bonus points for every 4 qualifying nights stayed at participating IHG properties worldwide.

Here’s what you need to know.

Promotion Details

IHG One Rewards members must register for the promotion, which is only valid for paid stays between May 24 and August 31, 2023.

For every 2 nights you stay during the promotion period — even if those nights aren’t consecutive — you’ll earn 2,000 bonus points. However, the option to earn 10,000 points after 4 nights stayed is actually the better promotion if you plan on staying in IHG hotels a lot. There is no maximum amount of points you can earn with this promotion.

There are a few things to note about IHG’s latest promotions:

  • Award nights do not count under this offer, so only paid nights of $30 or more will help you earn extra points.
  • Even stays booked prior to the promotion period will count as long as you register, so you don’t need to rebook anything.
  • If you have been targeted for other offers, according to IHG, “Members who are invited to participate in this Offer may also participate in other IHG offers or promotions to the extent they qualify for such other offers or promotions.”
  • It can take up to 6 weeks for your bonus points to show up in your account balance.
  • Stays at Iberostar Beachfront Resorts and Six Senses Hotels, Resorts & Spas that do not participate in IHG One Rewards will not be eligible for the promotion.

When booking a cash rate at an IHG hotel, make sure to also consider an IHG co-branded credit card to earn up to 26x points per dollar spent at IHG properties!

Hot Tip: Learn more about how to earn and redeem IHG One Rewards points in our detailed guides.

Final Thoughts

It’s probably not worth going out of your way to book IHG properties just to earn these bonus points, but if you do have stays planned with the chain, earning 10,000 bonus points for every 4 nights stayed is a great way to boost your IHG One Rewards balance with very little effort!
