The revamped IHG One Rewards program has announced its summer promotion that could earn members up to 4x points, up to a total of 100,000 bonus points.
This is a pretty solid promotion and a good way to boost your balance if you have some IHG stays planned this summer, plus, there are some extra bonuses if you have an IHG credit card.
Let’s take a closer look at this new promotion.
IHG One Rewards is running a promotion that will allow members to earn between 2x to 4x points starting with their second night. The more you stay, the more you can earn.
During the promotion period, guests can earn points according to the structure setup below:
Cardholders of the IHG One Rewards Premier Credit Card, IHG One Rewards Premier Business Credit Card, and IHG One Rewards Traveler Credit Card can earn 3,000 additional points every 3 nights, up to 6,000 extra points.

This is a pretty straightforward promotion, but there are a few things to keep in mind.
First, IHG One Rewards members normally earn 10 base points per dollar at most IHG brands, so the bonus points would be awarded to the remainder — plus any elite bonuses.

However, this promotion is capped at 100,000 points or 106,000 points for IHG cardholders. So despite becoming quite lucrative after 15 nights, it won’t last long for whoever hits the threshold.
This is all in addition to what you would earn by paying with your credit card.
Finally, award nights don’t count — only qualifying stays of at least 1 night with a rate of at least $30.
It is clear that with this IHG One Rewards promotion, the more that you spend, the more points you will earn. However, after that, it’s time to use them!
