Update:

The offer mentioned below has expired and is no longer available.

If you’ve got a stash of JetBlue TrueBlue points to burn, JetBlue is offering a valuable flash sale on select award flights. However, you’ll need to act quickly and book by the end of the day on June 18, 2025.

This limited-time offer can provide significant savings on award flights — if you act quickly. Here are the details!

JetBlue Award Sale Details

To take advantage of this sale, you need to book by 11:59 p.m. local time on Wednesday, June 18, 2025. You can travel between September 3 and November 19, 2025, though flights on Fridays and Sundays aren’t eligible for this sale. However, individual rates may have different travel dates, and you should pay attention to those to ensure the dates you choose are eligible for a discount.

To take advantage of this promotion, simply visit JetBlue’s promo page and search for your flights. The base price you see in points will already reflect the flash sale price, so there’s nothing additional you need to do to get the discounted price.

Unfortunately, we aren’t seeing any deals in Mint or on transatlantic flights as part of this sale, which is really where you could score the most value.

Instead, only economy class flights are available in JetBlue’s mostly domestic route network. However, many Caribbean and Latin American flights are on sale.

Example Flight

This April, you could book an award flight from Boston (BOS) to Fort Myers, Florida (RSW) for just 2,700 points plus $5.60 in taxes and fees. It’s a Blue Basic fare, so you’ll get a free carry-on bag, but you’ll need to pay for a seat assignment, and changes aren’t permitted.

Blue (the main cabin ticket with fewer restrictions) costs 4,900 points.

The same flight in cash would cost $59 in basic economy, so you’re looking at around 1.98 cents per point in value with this award. This is a very good way to redeem JetBlue points, considering we value JetBlue TrueBlue points at just 1.3 cents apiece.

Hot Tip:

Don’t have any JetBlue TrueBlue points? Remember that you can transfer your American Express Membership Rewards (1:0.8 ratio), Capital One miles (5:3 ratio), Chase Ultimate Rewards points (1:1 ratio), or Citi ThankYou Points (1:1 ratio) to JetBlue.

Final Thoughts

This sale is a fantastic way to stretch your TrueBlue points even further. There’s no promise of a flat discount — such as 10% off all routes — so some discounts will be better than others. If you were planning to book a flight today or tomorrow, this JetBlue award sale could be a great way to maximize your points while saving money on a trip.
