JetBlue’s second BlueHouse airport lounge has opened its big blue front door at Boston Logan International Airport (BOS). The bonus news is that even domestic passengers are now also eligible to use BlueHouse lounges.

I was lucky enough to get a sneak preview at a media event just 3 days before the Boston BlueHouse officially opened its doors at 5 a.m. Eastern time on Thursday, August 27, 2026.

Here’s what it’s like inside.

The lounge is located in JetBlue‘s Terminal C by gate 25. Turn right once you’ve cleared security, and you won’t be walking for long before you see its bright blue front door.

The design of the entrance and reception are based on classic Boston-style homes.

Inside the Lounge

The 12,000-square-foot BlueHouse is a bright and welcoming space that could be described as Nantucket chic.

The lounge features several distinct areas, including The Neighborhood Bar, The Dugout, and The Library Workspace. In the center, guests will find The Neighborhood Bar. More on that later.

The Dugout pays homage to Boston’s sports culture, featuring a guest appearance from Red Sox fan favorite, The Green Monster.

With its vintage wooden tables topped with blue lamps, retro carpet, and study booths, The Library is an ideal place to concentrate — just like Boston’s Public Library.

There are 5 booths with curtains for complete privacy available for those who need to concentrate with no distractions.

My favorite part of the Boston BlueHouse is the huge restaurant and dining area. The open air kitchen is a huge plus.

I was very happy to see JetBlue decided to add a photo booth like in its first lounge at JFK. This version has an added AvGeek quirk of actual airline seats to sit in while making your poses.

Say Bawwwston.

The high-end fixtures and fittings are inspired by patterns and designs from Beacon Hill, Downtown Boston, and typical residential neighborhoods across New England.

Couldn't be anywhere other than Boston, really.

Complimentary Food and Drinks

The Boston BlueHouse has a fully functional kitchen from the get-go, allowing passengers to enjoy pre-flight hot meals from opening day.

Freshly prepared dishes take inspiration from New England as well as some of the destinations JetBlue flies to in Europe. Think maple-glazed bacon, breakfast muffins, and Mediterranean Strata. I particularly enjoyed the chicken sausages and smoked salmon bagel.

Grab-and-go snacks from local brands and a very tempting pastry section complete the culinary lineup … well, almost.

Soft drinks — including still and sparkling water taps as well as soda — are thirst-quenching alternatives to alcohol and caffeine.

The BlueHouse lounge in Boston is open from 5 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily.

How To Access JetBlue’s BlueHouse at Boston

The new BlueHouse will be especially welcomed by passengers heading to Europe on JetBlue’s overnight redeyes. Passengers with Mint and Mint Flex tickets have complimentary lounge access. Domestic passengers holding JetBlue Mint and Mint Flex tickets can also use JetBlue’s BlueHouses in Boston and JFK.

Additionally, JetBlue Premier World Elite Mastercard^® holders and TrueBlue Mosaic 4 members can use the lounge regardless of their destination and cabin class.

Hot Tip:

As of August 27, 2026, JetBlue has introduced new Mint Base fares. These cheaper tickets don’t include lounge access before departure.

Final Thoughts

JetBlue’s second BlueHouse location promises to be a hit. The carefully curated food and drink menus, quintessentially Boston aesthetic, and overall feeling of luxury is the perfect preflight experience.

The lounge is now welcoming guests. Let’s hope this won’t be the last BlueHouse to open its doors.
