JetBlue has joined other major airlines with its first airport lounge outpost at New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK).

Right now, only 1 BlueHouse lounge has opened, with another opening in early 2026 and yet another under consideration. But even with the small footprint, it has made a strong impression. The opening of the lounge coincides with the airline’s launch of its premium credit card, which will determine the success of the lounge network.

Below, we’ll take a comprehensive look at all of the details released about the JetBlue BlueHouse lounges, where they’re located, how you can access them, what amenities are on tap, and much more. Let’s dive in!

How To Access JetBlue BlueHouse Lounges

Of all of the airline lounges, JetBlue’s BlueHouse lounge is among the most restrictive. The lounge doesn’t participate in the Priority Pass program, so having travel credit cards with that perk will not grant you access.

There are only 3 ways to access the BlueHouse lounge at New York’s JFK or the upcoming lounge in Boston (BOS).

Transatlantic Mint or TrueBlue Mosaic 4

TrueBlue Mosaic 4 members and travelers flying in Mint cabins bound for Europe can access the lounges.

Mosaic 4 members may bring in 1 complimentary guest, with additional guests at $39 per person. Transatlantic Mint travelers do not have complimentary guest privileges, but may bring in guests for $39 each.

Day Passes

In February 2026, JetBlue began offering BlueHouse day passes for a fee. BlueHouse day passes are only available to JetBlue passengers with JetBlue Mosaic 1-3 status or Mint passengers who are not traveling on transatlantic flights.

Lounge access is only granted to those traveling on a Blue fare or higher, up to 3 hours before departure. The cost of a day pass depends on your cabin or elite status level:

  • Mint Passengers not taking a transatlantic JetBlue flight: $59
  • Mosaic 3 elite status holders: $59
  • Mosaic 1-2 elite status holders: $79

JetBlue Premier World Elite Mastercard® Cardholders and Guests

The first way to access the lounge is through JetBlue’s new premium credit card, the JetBlue Premier World Elite Mastercard®, which has a $499 annual fee and includes access to all JetBlue lounges. If you’re a JetBlue loyalist and want to have access to BlueHouse lounges, this is the card to keep in your wallet.

Additional Entry Requirements

Customers and guests must have a confirmed same-day boarding pass for a Blue Fare or above ticket. This is a notable point to consider. Travelers — even cardholders and guests — cannot access the lounge on a Blue Basic Fare, JetBlue’s most restrictive class.

Additionally, travelers on Blue Basic Fares (even cardholders) cannot purchase a one-time pass. So, if you want to check out the lounge for yourself, make sure to check your ticket before arriving.

Passengers must be traveling on an eligible JetBlue-operated flight, which excludes codeshare flights. Guests may access the lounge 3 hours prior to departure, or longer if connecting.

Final Thoughts

JetBlue has finally entered the airport lounge game with a swanky new lounge at its Terminal 5 base at JFK. While JetBlue’s BlueHouse lounges don’t yet have a large footprint, the airline plans to open a lounge in Boston in 2026 and is considering a location at FLL, which should be good news for South Florida customers.

The easiest way to get access is to hold the JetBlue Premier card and fly Blue Fare or higher. However, if you don’t have the card, you can still get into the lounge if you’re flying Mint transatlantically or are a TrueBlue Mosaic 4 member.
