A pair of IHG credit cards is currently offering some of the best welcome bonus offers we’ve ever seen on either card.

Right now, you can earn up to 125,000 points with the IHG One Rewards Traveler Credit Card and up to 185,000 points with the IHG One Rewards Premier Credit Card. These are exceptional offers — the best we’ve ever seen on the IHG Traveler card and among the best on the IHG Premier card — but they’re ending on June 25, 2026, at 9 a.m. ET, so there’s not much time left to score them.

Let’s take a closer look at these hotel credit cards, their welcome offers, and whether it’s worth adding one of them to your wallet.

Limited-Time Welcome Offers: Earn up to 185K Points

Right now, eligible new applicants for the IHG Traveler card can earn up to 125,000 bonus IHG One Rewards points through a 2-tiered welcome bonus offer, which is expiring on June 25, 2026, at 9 a.m. ET:

  • Earn 90,000 bonus points after spending $2,000 on purchases in the first 3 months from account opening.
  • Earn 35,000 additional points after spending $4,000 on purchases within the first 6 months from account opening.

We value IHG One Rewards points at 0.5 cents apiece, meaning 125,000 bonus points are worth $625. This is the best offer we’ve ever seen on the IHG Traveler card, and it’s a significant step up from the standard 80,000-point welcome offer available to new applicants.

On the other hand, the IHG Premier card is currently featuring an elevated welcome offer of up to 185,000 bonus IHG One Rewards points — also expiring June 25, 2026, at 9 a.m. ET:

  • Earn 150,000 bonus points after spending $3,000 on purchases in the first 3 months from account opening.
  • Earn 35,000 additional points after spending $6,000 within the first 6 months from account opening.

According to our valuations, this welcome bonus offer is worth $925 toward hotel stays across IHG’s numerous hotel brands. The standard welcome offer on the IHG Premier card is 140,000 points, so this represents a meaningful jump — and at 185,000 total points, it’s the largest-ever single welcome offer on the card. (For context, previous offers have included as many as 5 free night certificates, which we consider to be stronger overall, but this points haul is hard to ignore.)

IHG Traveler Card vs. IHG Premier Card

To help you decide if either the IHG Traveler card or the IHG Premier card is a good fit for your wallet, we’ll run through the highlights.

IHG Traveler Card

The $0-annual-fee IHG Traveler card offers a solid earning structure for IHG loyalists. The card earns up to 17x points on IHG purchases, 3x points on monthly bills, gas stations, and restaurants, and 2x points on all other eligible purchases.

In addition to the strong earning structure, the card offers a few great perks, including automatic IHG One Rewards Silver Elite status, a 20% bonus on points earned during IHG stays, and the fourth-award-night-free perk, which allows those with status to redeem points for 3 consecutive nights and get a fourth night at no extra cost.

Cardholders can also spend their way to IHG Gold Elite status — valid through December 31 of the following year — by putting $20,000 in purchases on the card in a calendar year. Gold Elite members earn a 40% points bonus on paid stays at IHG properties.

IHG Premier Card

The IHG Premier card comes with a $99 annual fee, but it offers a very robust earning structure and suite of benefits to cardholders, making it a fantastic option for anyone who stays at IHG properties frequently.

It earns up to 26x points on IHG stays, 5x points on travel, gas stations, and restaurants, and 3x points on all other purchases.

The card also offers great perks for IHG loyalists, including automatic Platinum Elite status, which grants room upgrades, a special welcome amenity, access to the fourth-night-free perk, a $100 statement credit after spending $20,000 in a calendar year, and more.

The standout perk of the card, though, is the anniversary free-night award, which you receive each year after paying the card’s annual fee. It’s valued at up to 40,000 IHG One Rewards points, but you can top it off with additional points from your account if you want to use it at a higher-cost hotel.

Final Thoughts

Right now, both the IHG Traveler card and the IHG Premier card have elevated welcome offers — up to 125,000 points and 185,000 points, respectively. However, these offers are coming to an end on June 25, 2026, at 9 a.m. ET, so you’ll want to apply before both opportunities disappear.
