1. Auberge Resort Bishop’s Lodge in Santa Fe, New Mexico

Starting Nightly Rate: $536

Considered one of the best resorts in the Mountain West, Auberge Resort Bishop’s Lodge has adventures for everyone, including your dogs. There are miles and miles of land to roam with your furry friend and plenty to see in Santa Fe, all of which can be done when you stay at this resort.

Not only is this Auberge lodge pet-friendly, but it also has on-site amenities that are specially curated for dogs. All pets are provided with plush dog beds and serving bowls so your pooch can have a luxury vacation by your side.

Additionally, 2 of the hotel’s on-site eateries and the room service kitchen have specialty dog menus. This “canine cuisine” has been veterinary-approved, including bison burgers, deconstructed pot pies, and even banana lattes. Dog menus are available to order between 11 a.m. and 10 p.m. at all locations.

Pup tikis are available if you want to give your pooch a chance to splash around in the water. There’s also a daily “yappy hour” by the sand for dogs to socialize and enjoy snacks and water.

Dog menus are available via room service and at some of the hotel’s dining locations. Additionally, all dogs are welcomed with a doggy care package to make their stay extra special. Dogs left in the room must be in a crate, which the hotel can provide. Guests with pets are asked to hang a provided “Cay-9” magnet on their door to alert housekeeping.

Hôtel Swexan in Dallas takes pet care seriously. The hotel has a pet wellness specialist to curate adventure experiences that will leave your pooch happy and well taken care of during your stay.

Swexan has expert on-staff dog walkers who can take your pup to some of the city’s most pet-friendly locations to stretch their legs and explore 24/7.

If you’d prefer to walk your dog yourself, you can borrow a pair of dog-friendly Bluetooth headphones from reception. That way, your furry friend can listen to the hotel’s customized puppy playlist, which was featured in Vogue.

Vet-approved treats and food options are available to order so you can treat your dog to something special. Unfortunately, the Swexan has a weight limit for dog guests. All pooches must be 35 pounds or less to stay on the property.
