Margaritaville opened the doors to its first Texas beachfront property on South Padre Island, Texas today. The resort overlooks the Gulf of Mexico and features all oceanview rooms or condominiums, as well as other amenities.

Margaritaville Beach Resort South Padre Island, formerly The Pearl Hotel South Padre, underwent a $30 million renovation that transformed it into Margaritaville’s newest property.

The resort features 200 guestrooms and 50 condominiums with up to 3 bedrooms and also boasts the area’s largest pool. This pool offers private cabanas as well as a separate area for kids.

The resort also has a fully-equipped fitness center and the Sapphire Spa located adjacent to the property, which provides massage treatments and more in addition to a full salon.

As far as activities go, guests can utilize the on-property concierge to help arrange water activities such as windsurfing, parasailing, wave runner rentals, and more.

Three dining venues can be found on the resort, each with varying levels of service: LandShark Bar & Grill, Salty Rim Bar & Grill, and Joe Merchant’s Coffee & Provisions.
