If you’re visiting Starbucks this week, a joint promotion with Marriott Bonvoy has you in mind. Thanks to this new offer for Marriott Bonvoy Week, you can earn 100 bonus Marriott Bonvoy points on Starbucks purchases this week.

How does it work? Let’s check it out.

Starbucks Promotion for Marriott Bonvoy Week — Details

The Starbucks and Marriott partnership isn’t new, and linking your Starbucks Rewards account with your Marriott Bonvoy account can earn double stars when staying at Marriott properties. There’s also the promise of exclusive experiences.

However, a promotion during Marriott Bonvoy Week provides 100 bonus points after making 3 Starbucks transactions from August 18 to 24, 2025, at Starbucks locations in the U.S. These joint Marriott-Starbucks offers began in 2024, and promotions range from 100 to 500 bonus points.

Currently, this promotion is offered in the third week of every month.

Qualifying transactions must be at least $2 each. Additionally, gift cards and alcohol purchases don’t count. Qualifying purchases are those made through the mobile app or Starbucks website using a linked payment method or a preloaded Starbucks card. Alternatively, scan the barcode associated with your Starbucks Rewards account when it’s time to pay.

You can only earn a 100 bonus points a single time this week. Since we value Marriott Bonvoy points at 0.7 cents each, 100 bonus points are worth 70 cents.

Hot Tip:

Besides buying Starbucks, Marriott Bonvoy points are incredibly easy to earn. Check out our guide on the best ways to earn lots of Marriott Bonvoy points!

Is It Worth It?

Should you go out of your way for $0.70 worth of Marriott Bonvoy points? No. If you’re already ordering Starbucks at least 3 times this week, then this can be a nice addition. Alternatively, if you’re ordering multiple items during a single visit, it may be worth splitting those into separate transactions. If you pay for 3 items in separate transactions, this should trigger the bonus offer, assuming each item costs at least $2.

But what if you don’t normally buy from Starbucks? This deal is unlikely to sway customers. Compare the cost of purchasing from Starbucks against your other options if you’re simply looking for a cup of coffee.

Additionally, this isn’t the only method for coffee-based rewards. You can earn from a Delta-Starbucks partnership when flying with Delta Air Lines or get up to $7 in monthly credits for purchases with Dunkin’ if you enroll for a benefit on the American Express® Gold Card.

You’ve got options, so consider those before deciding on your purchase and which program you want to earn with.

Final Thoughts

This week, you can earn 100 bonus Marriott Bonvoy points by making 3 separate Starbucks purchases of $2 or more. It’s not a ton of value, so this promotion is best-suited for those buying from Starbucks already.
