Explore New Stays! More Postcard Cabins and Sonder Properties Join Marriott Bonvoy

Last year, Marriott announced massive deals to partner with Sonder, an apartment-style brand, and Postcard Cabins, which has a portfolio of outdoor properties, to bring these brands under the Marriott Bonvoy umbrella.

Now, more of these properties are officially bookable directly through Marriott — and some are available with points. Let’s take a look.

Over 50 New Properties Now Available

As noted by LoyaltyLobby, more Sonder hotels and Postcard Cabins are available on Marriott’s website. All told, more than 50 new properties in the U.S. and several international destinations have been integrated into the Marriott Bonvoy program. You can view the full list of properties at this link, though not all listed properties are fully showing on Marriott’s website for cash stays or point redemptions just yet.

Let’s take a look at a few of the properties and their cost with cash and Marriott Bonvoy points:

• The Circ Hotel Hollywood, Sonder (Florida): This hotel offers a mix of rooms and apartments, along with a gym, pool, and restaurant. Rates start at $93 or 25,000 points per night.
• Park House Hotel Museum Quarter, Sonder (Amsterdam, Netherlands): Rates start at $98 or 23,000 points per night.
• Sonder Business Bay Apartments (Dubai, United Arab Emirates): Rooms range from studios to 4 bedrooms, and amenities include a pool and a fitness center. Rates start at $65 or 22,000 points per night.

As you can see, some of these options are incredibly affordable with points, which is good news, especially if you’re planning a longer stay.

Earning and Redeeming Points at Sonder and Postcard Cabins

Sonder offers apartment-style lodging in more than 40 cities worldwide, including Chicago, Dubai, and Miami. The brand functions as a hybrid between a full-service hotel and a bed-and-breakfast. Many features, such as check-in and room requests, can be completed through an app on your phone.

Now styled as Sonder by Marriott, you’ll earn 10x Marriott Bonvoy points at Sonder hotels and 5x points at Sonder apartments. You’ll earn 1 elite night credit per qualifying night and have the ability to redeem points. 

Sonder is just one of Marriott’s newest brands. Last year, Marriott acquired Postcard Cabins to establish a presence in the outdoor segment. Like Sonder, you’ll earn 10x points on these reservations. However, points bookings don’t appear to be available yet.

More Sonder hotels and Postcard Cabins properties are available directly through Marriott’s channels. Of the Sonder hotels we checked out, these seem to be incredible options for high-end points stays, given how low the awards are. We’ll keep an eye out for more properties joining Marriott Bonvoy!
