The playful Moxy Hotels brand has opened its first hotel in Mumbai, India, with the debut of the Moxy Mumbai Andheri West.

Here’s everything you need to know.

New Moxy Comes to Mumbai

Moxy Mumbai Andheri West has 105 guest rooms and suites. True to the brand, rooms are on the smaller side but offer storage spaces and functional workspaces.

The suites here are considerably larger, offering loveseats, more storage space, and bigger bathrooms.

Amenities include a gym, an infinity pool, the signature Moxy Bar and Moxy Kitchen, and the Moxy Sky rooftop bar. The hotel is just 6 miles from Mumbai International Airport (BOM),

“Moxy boldly breaks the rules of a conventional hotel stay, and we are thrilled to introduce this dynamic brand to Mumbai — a city that perfectly mirrors the hotel’s fun, social and modern spirit,” said Ranju Alex, Marriott’s Area Vice President for South Asia.

This is Marriott’s debut of the Moxy brand — known for its petite rooms and social communal spaces — in Mumbai. However, Marriott Bonvoy has over a dozen properties in India’s largest city. These include some of the best hotels in South Asia, like The St. Regis Mumbai and ITC Grand Central, a Luxury Collection Hotel.

Moxy Mumbai Andheri West is now open for guests and can be booked with cash or Marriott Bonvoy points.

If you’re booking with the former, rates start around $140 per night in October before increasing to around $200 in November. Award rates are pretty standard here at 42,000 points per night throughout 2024 and 2025.
