Delta flyers out of Minneapolis-Saint Paul International Airport (MSP) are in for a treat with the opening of the third Sky Club at the Delta hub.

The carrier’s newest Sky Club is officially welcoming in passengers as of today, April 19, 2023.

“We continue to raise the bar with every location we open, and the new MSP Club is no exception,” said Claude Roussel, managing director of Delta Sky Club.

Let’s take a look at what you can expect from a visit!

Details on MSP’s Third Delta Sky Club

Located by the newly renovated gates G18 through G22, Delta’s new Sky Club lounge has the capacity for roughly 450 guests, making it the largest of Delta’s lounges in the airport. Furthermore, the lounge will be open daily from 4:30 a.m. to 10:15 p.m., with 3 self check-in kiosks for easy access.

The variety of bold colors, textures, and materials throughout give the lounge an essence of a luxury hotel lobby. This isn’t your regular, run-of-the-mill airport lounge.

“Our goal was to create a space that reflects the natural beauty of the Great Lakes region, transporting and inspiring customers through the Club’s design, all while delivering a full suite of amenities and our signature hospitality,” continued Roussel.

Sky Deck and Local Dishes

La pièce de résistance for many AvGeeks will be the Sky Deck, which boast views of the airport’s bustling aprons and runways. The deck has ample seating for up to 110 guests and is home to one of the lounge’s 2 bars.

Hot Tip:

Delta Sky Clubs are a great way to relax when flying Delta. A surefire way to get access is by owning one of these credit cards. Furthermore, they come with a bunch of other perks, such as bonus miles on eligible Delta purchases!

Back inside, travelers will get to enjoy local chef and Bravo To Chef alumni Justin Sutherland’s take on popular Southern dishes such as chicken and andouille gumbo, shrimp and grits, pimento cheeseburger sliders, and banana pudding.

Sutherland’s Southern-inspired creations will be featured through July as part of Delta Sky Club’s Local Flavor program. Plus, you’ll find a full buffet you’d normally expect to find at a Delta Sky Club.

Final Thoughts

As of Wednesday, April 19, Delta passengers flying through Minneapolis-Saint Paul (MSP) have a brand-new lounge to enjoy. We can’t wait to check out the views from the Sky Deck!
