We finally have an opening date for the Park Hyatt Los Cabos at Cabo Del Sol in Mexico: August 1, 2025. But the resort is already available for bookings with cash or World of Hyatt points — and it’s a pretty solid deal.

Here’s what you need to know before the resort opens next year!

First Park Hyatt in Mexico Opening Next Year

The Park Hyatt Los Cabos at Cabo Del Sol will have 163 ocean-view guest rooms, suites, and villas.

While the hotel is still under construction, we know it will have a whopping 5 pools, 5 dining options, a golf course, and meeting and event spaces. Additionally, the resort will feature 59,000 square feet of wellness spaces, including a spa, a fitness center with a yoga studio, and a nail salon.

The hotel will be approximately a 40-minute drive from Los Cabos International Airport (SJD).

Bottom Line:

Hyatt is gearing up for an exciting 2025 in Mexico. Aside from the Park Hyatt Los Cabos, the chain has several other hotels opening in the country next year, including the Grand Hyatt Mexico City Santa Fe and Grand Hyatt Cancun Beach Resort.

Booking the Park Hyatt Los Cabos

The Park Hyatt Los Cabos at Cabo Del Sol is scheduled to open on August 1, 2025. However, the hotel is allowing bookings now, and we suggest you snap them up now.

A Category 8 hotel — World of Hyatt‘s highest category — the Park Hyatt Los Cabos joins an exclusive club of Hyatt’s top-tier properties. These include some of the best Hyatt has to offer, such as Alila Napa Valley, Alila Ventana Big Sur, Park Hyatt New York, and Park Hyatt Paris-Vendôme. And the Park Hyatt Los Cabos will be in its own lane, becoming the first Category 8 property in Mexico.

Rates start at 35,000 points per night (off-peak) and go up to 45,000 points per night on peak nights. Cash bookings are available, but with rates starting at more than $700 per night, we recommend using World of Hyatt points.

For a major loyalty program, Hyatt points aren’t that easy to earn. However, they’re extremely valuable: worth 1.5 cents per point in our valuations!

You have several options if you need to top up your balance before booking a stay here. The easiest way to earn World of Hyatt points is through welcome bonuses and spending on either of the Hyatt co-branded cards. If you have a credit card that earns Chase Ultimate Rewards or Bilt Rewards, you can transfer these points to Hyatt at a 1:1 ratio.

Final Thoughts

One of the most anticipated hotels of 2025 is already available for World of Hyatt bookings. Even though the Park Hyatt Los Cabos is a Category 8 property, off-peak nights mean you can score this resort at a massive steal. Given how popular the resort will be, we recommend booking your stay now.
