The Park Hyatt New York is 1 of the best hotels for points stays in New York and the Hyatt portfolio.

And now, the flagship hotel is about to get a significant makeover in honor of its 10th anniversary. Here’s what you need to know!

Park Hyatt New York To Undergo Renovations

The 25-story Park Hyatt New York will undergo a multimillion-dollar makeover, but will remain open during the renovations.

There will be a new, 3,500-square-foot Manhattan Suite occupying a private wing on the top floor. It will feature the ability to connect 2 guest rooms, each with 140-square-foot balconies with Central Park views. The suite will have 3 bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms, a living area, a wet bar, a butler’s kitchen, and a private office.

The hotel also announced that its signature spa and salon will move to new locations and, by January, it will roll out refreshed specialty suites. The suites will now feature outdoor fireplaces to complement their private terraces.

“We are thrilled to unveil this remarkable transformation as we celebrate our 10th anniversary,” said Laurent Ebzant, General Manager. “The introduction of the Manhattan Suite and the upgrades to our existing product reflect our unwavering commitment to providing guests with the most tailored and elevated hospitality experience.”

How To Book the Park Hyatt New York

The Park Hyatt New York is 1 of the best properties in the World of Hyatt collection. Located across from Carnegie Hall and a block from Central Park, the 211-room hotel has hosted dignitaries and is an important figure in the Midtown Manhattan skyline.

Rates here frequently top over $1,000 per night for a standard room and can cost thousands more for a suite.

The high prices make the Park Hyatt New York 1 of the best options for using World of Hyatt points. As a Category 8 hotel — 1 of just 13 in the U.S. — rates range from 35,000 to 45,000 points per night.

While that may seem steep, especially if you’re planning a longer stay, you have several options for earning points. Here are a few ways to earn World of Hyatt points:

Final Thoughts

While the Park Hyatt New York is known for luxury, any renovations are always great news for travelers. The Manhattan Suite is particularly interesting, as it will be comprised of 2 separate suites that can be combined into 1.

We look forward to checking out the upgrades when they are completed!
