Great news for Peloton riders who have upcoming stays at Hilton properties: by the end of 2022 nearly all of the 5,400 Hilton-branded hotels in the U.S. will have at least 1 Peloton bike in their fitness center.
Travelers have been prioritizing wellness activities while on the road and Peloton bikes exploded in popularity over the past few years, so this partnership is a nice fit.
Even if you don’t have a Hilton stay coming up, you can still take advantage of this new partnership.
Let’s take a look at all the details!
What Is Peloton?
For those unfamiliar, Peloton is a fitness company that exploded in popularity during the pandemic thanks to its uber-popular (and expensive) in-home spinning bike.
The connected bike with a built-in TV monitor starts at $1,445 but can jump up to almost $2,000 with upgrades — plus the $44 Peloton All-Access Membership that’s billed monthly.
The membership provides access to unlimited fitness content — both live and on-demand — which syncs with the bike.
With this new partnership, Hilton and Peloton will be offering the bikes themselves in addition to class access, so this is certainly a premium amenity.
Peloton also offers a treadmill, rowing machine, an app, apparel, and more. But this partnership is focused on spinning bikes — for now.
Hilton and Peloton Team Up
On October 3, 2022, Hilton and Peloton announced an “industry-first partnership” to enhance wellness on the road by equipping Hilton’s entire U.S. portfolio of 18 brands with Peloton Bikes.
All brands, from Hampton by Hilton to Waldorf Astoria will feature at least 1 Peloton bike in the property’s fitness center, giving guests access to Peloton’s instructors and expansive library of fitness content.
“At Hilton, we understand the importance of a reliable and friendly stay that infuses wellness through all facets of the guest experience, including spa programs, hotel design, guest room amenities, and food and beverage,” said Matt Schuyler, Chief Brand Officer at Hilton. “This unique and exciting partnership with Peloton – a brand so many of our guests know and love – accelerates an important part of that equation, allowing us to enhance the stay with an innovative approach to fitness.”
According to a recent Hilton guest survey, an overwhelming 98% of respondents are prioritizing wellness activities while on the road. Many Hilton properties already have Peloton Bikes, but the inconsistency of availability across the chain was frustrating to dedicated riders.
Most Peloton riders surveyed said they would be more likely to stay at a hotel if a Peloton Bike was available. So this partnership could benefit both guests and hotel bottom lines.
Free Peloton App Trial
On top of this exciting news, Hilton Honors members in the U.S. can receive a 90-day trial subscription to the Peloton App.
The app offers thousands of live and on-demand classes that do not require the Peloton bike. From strength training to mediation and stretching classes, the app alone is a great perk for Hilton Honors members.
Members also can receive preferred pricing on select Peloton-connected fitness products.

This partnership seems to be a win-win … win.
Peloton sales have been struggling, so this announcement gave a nice boost to its stock price. Hilton now gets a popular piece of exercise equipment in all of their hotels which they hope will attract more guests — and some good PR.
And guests (especially Peloton fans) will be able to get a good spin in while traveling.
Peloton bikes do require regular maintenance, and existing hotel bikes have been known to take a beating. Hopefully, a maintenance and software update plan will be in place. Otherwise, this may turn into a pain point for many active riders.
For now, though, this is great news. Not to mention the Peloton App is packed with great wellness content. We think this move is great news for Hilton Honors members overall!
