Marriott is expanding its footprint in Dubai by opening a brand new Renaissance Hotel.

Here’s what you need to know about the new Renaissance Business Bay Hotel, Dubai.

Renaissance Comes To Dubai

Located in Downtown Dubai, the Renaissance Business Bay Hotel, Dubai has 251 guest rooms and suites. The hotel will likely be popular with tourists and business travelers, as it’s close to the  Burj Khalifa and Dubai Mall. Additionally, the Renaissance is just 10 miles from Dubai International Airport (DXB).

Amenities include a health club, a spacious outdoor pool with skyline views and a bar, meeting spaces, and 4 restaurants. Guests will also have access to a staple of the Renaissance brand, the Renaissance Navigator. This service effectively pairs you with a concierge who can help plan tours and off-the-beaten-path activities.

This is Marriott’s first Renaissance Hotels property in Dubai. Part of the Premium umbrella, Renaissance is known as a brand for curious travelers who want to explore their destination.

“We are thrilled to present the Renaissance brand to Dubai, a city renowned for its vibrancy, creativity and diverse cultural tapestry,” said Goran Stojkovic, the hotel’s general manager. “At Renaissance Business Bay, our goal is to inspire guests through authentic local experiences while offering exceptional comfort and service, all set against the stunning backdrop of the Dubai Water Canal and the iconic city skyline.”

How To Book

The Renaissance Business Bay Hotel, Dubai, is now open for guests and, like other hotels, is participating in the Marriott Bonvoy loyalty program.

Like many hotels — even 5-star properties — in the Middle East, the Renaissance is incredibly cheap. And that’s true whether you’re paying with cash or using Marriott Bonvoy points.

For instance, we’ve spotted cash rates for as low as $150 per night next February, which is fantastic for a luxury hotel. Should you decide to use points, you’ll find standard rooms starting at 41,000 points per night for dates next spring. While those are the cheapest rates, the average standard room will run you between 42,000 and 54,000 points per night.

Marriott Bonvoy points are among the easiest hotel points to earn, even if you don’t frequent the chain.

One of the most popular ways to earn points is by utilizing transfer partners. American Express Membership RewardsBilt Rewards, and Chase Ultimate Rewards all transfer to Marriott Bonvoy at a 1:1 ratio. Other ways to earn points include opening a Marriott Bonvoy credit card, booking Marriott Bonvoy tours and activities, or taking an Uber ride.

Hot Tip:

Marriott is offering 3,000 bonus points for stays at the Renaissance Business Bay Hotel, Dubai through December 31, 2024!

Final Thoughts

The Renaissance Business Bay Hotel, Dubai is an impressive hotel. There’s no shortage of luxe hotels in Dubai, but the Renaissance stands out for its affordability and central location. If you plan to visit Dubai this year, make sure to check out this property (and earn some bonus points along the way).
