If you’ve been chasing award space across multiple hotel programs, the search side of the equation just got a little less painful.

Roame.Travel, the points-and-miles platform best known for its flight searches, has added IHG One Rewards to its hotel award search tool. That puts IHG’s portfolio alongside Hyatt, Hilton, and Marriott in one place, with cash-versus-points math already worked out for you on each result.

How does it work? Let’s take a look.

What Is Roame.Travel?

Roame started on the flight side, pulling award availability across nearly 20 airline loyalty programs so you can check who has seats open without opening a browser tab for each one. The hotel search, currently in beta, follows the same playbook: enter a destination and date, and Roame returns properties with cash rates, points rates, and a cents-per-point value calculated for each one. Sort by cents per point (CPP) value to spot the best redemptions at a glance.

The free tier covers the next 60 days of award availability — fine for most short-term planning. Pro users get the full award calendar, plus filters for minimum and maximum point cost and CPP thresholds. Both tiers benefit from the brand chips and map view, which make it straightforward to narrow a search to a specific neighborhood or hotel chain.

Roame Adds IHG One Rewards Functionality

IHG hotels are now searchable across the platform, which matters because IHG One Rewards uses dynamic award pricing. There’s no published chart, and rates move with cash prices. Roame’s CPP column makes that volatility easier to handle. At a glance, you can see whether a redemption is a deal or a dud.

A quick scan of recent results gives a sense of the range:

  • Holiday Inn Express Hong Kong Causeway Bay: 16,000 points per night against a $22 cash rate.
  • Kimpton Tsim Sha Tsui Hong Kong: 47,000 points per night or $102.
  • Regent Hong Kong: 79,000 points per night for entry rooms; the 1-Bedroom Suite Corner Harbour View with Regent Club access prices at 707,000 points or $1,582 cash.
  • Six Senses Ninh Van Bay, Vietnam: 153,000 points with cash rates near $485.

Don’t overlook IHG’s fourth-night-free perk either. Those with IHG credit cards get every fourth night free when booking award stays. On a four-night Regent Hong Kong stay at 79,000 points per night, that drops the all-in cost from 316,000 to 237,000 points — a real boost on aspirational properties.

IHG’s portfolio is broad enough that the search matters across budgets. Whether you’re booking inexpensive Holiday Inn Express properties, booking mid-tier stays at Kimpton, Vignette Collection, or InterContinental, or booking luxury stays at Regent and Six Senses brands, you’ve got options. With IHG, outsized cents-per-point values often live at the top and bottom of the spectrum — both budget and luxury reservations.

Final Thoughts

Adding IHG into Roame’s hotel search closes a gap that’s been hanging over the tool since the beta launched. Whether you’re working with a small IHG balance or sitting on free night certificates from one of the credit cards, having the data alongside Hyatt, Hilton, and Marriott means fewer tabs and faster answers.

It’s a small upgrade on paper, but for anyone who books award stays with any regularity, it’s the kind of thing you’ll end up using every week as you compare the options for using your points.
